What a beautiful day! As I’m pet sitting a few babies this weekend I wanted to remind everyone of the dangers this weather can bring to our furry friends.💛🌟

As temperatures rise, they are at a high risk for dehydration and heatstroke. Never leave a pet unattended in a parked car or outside for extended times. Please limit strenuous exercise, and ensure they have continuous access to fresh water and shade. I always check pavement temperature with my hand before walking and bracycephalic breeds should not be out in these temps 🐾

TICKS ARE BAD THIS YEAR
Veterinarians are reporting an exceptionally severe tick season in 2026, with many warning that tick activity is starting earlier and higher than previous years due to mild winter conditions.

Don’t forget that as your technician I have no problem coming and removing ticks for you 🥰

Please do not skip prevention and make sure you are checking your loved ones (animals and kids) ❤️

I know it’s past Valentines Day but look at this new Sweetheart who has completely stolen my heart ❤️

Ever wanted to take a shelter dog on a little adventure? Now’s your chance! Doggy Day Out lets our pups take a break from the shelter and spend the day hiking, grabbing a pup cup, riding in the car, or visiting dog-friendly spots around town.

It’s easy to participate. Just stop by, fill out a waiver, and sign out a dog. We’ll provide everything you need, including treats, toys, leash, harness, and even a list of dog-friendly places to go. Outings can be as short as an hour or last all day.

These field trips mean the world to our dogs, and they’re a great way to get to know them outside the shelter environment. 🐾

Being a pet sitter is not all about playtimes and snacks.🐾
Bella and I wandered into a yellow jacket property and were attacked. Luckily we were able to sprint away from most, kill the ones attached to us, and I removed 4 stingers from baby girl/2 from myself.
All was well after monitoring for allergic reactions, neither one of us go out so easily 🙃 🤣
