Meet this beautiful 4‑year‑old girl, a Husky/Australian Shepherd mix who desperately needs someone experienced, patient, and committed. She was found living on the streets and has been through more than any dog should. She is spayed, vaccinated, and full of energy — she just needs the right person to help her feel safe again.

✨ About Her:

• 4 years old
• 50% Husky / 50% Australian Shepherd
• Spayed & up‑to‑date on shots
• Very active, smart, and energetic
• Needs one‑on‑one attention and structure
• Looking for someone who understands working breeds

⚠️ Important Behavior Notes (Please Read):
Because of her rough start on the streets, she has a few challenges:

• She has food‑related issues and needs someone who can work with her patiently
• She does not like her head touched or her collar removed — she has snapped when scared
• She needs someone experienced with behavioral training or willing to work with a trainer

She is NOT a bad dog — she is a scared dog who has never had stability, and she deserves a chance with someone who understands her needs.

💔 Why She Needs a Home NOW:
Her current owner cannot provide the behavioral support she needs. If she cannot be placed with someone experienced or a rescue who can help her, she may have to be put down. This is a last resort — we are trying everything to save her.

• Someone willing to work with a trainer
• A calm, structured environment
• A person who understands trauma‑based behaviors

🎭💜 It’s Lundi Gras💚🎭

It’s Lundi Gras, which means we’ve officially entered the part of Mardi Gras where time is fake, beads multiply on their own, and everyone’s running on equal parts excitement and… whatever was in that last cup.

Before the big day hits tomorrow, I want to shout out every single client who made Mardi Paws Year 5 such a blast. Y’all brought the pups, the chaos, the jokes, the “my dog is absolutely judging you right now” faces — and honestly, that’s the good stuff.

Thank you for trusting me to groom your dogs, glam them up, and drop them straight into Mardi Gras magic.
