🏆 First Place – Clipper Classic 🏆
I’m incredibly thankful and humbled to have taken 1st Place in Clipper Classic this weekend with Piper. ❤️
To be completely honest, I never entered this competition expecting to win. In fact, I was fully prepared to let another groomer use Piper for a different class because I genuinely didn’t think placing was likely.
When I compete, I don’t pray for ribbons or trophies. Instead, I pray that God calms my nerves, helps me enjoy the experience, allows me to genuinely celebrate others’ successes, and guards my heart from pride if I win or bitterness if I don’t.
The truth is, every ability, opportunity, and accomplishment I have comes from Him. My goal has always been to do my work with excellence and to bring glory to God in all things whether I place first or go home empty-handed.
So yes, I’m absolutely celebrating this win and I’m so grateful for it! But more than anything, I’m thankful for the journey, the lessons learned, the friendships made, and a God who continues to bless me far beyond what I deserve.
