Today’s a very big day here at Hound About Town: it’s Gizmo’s 6th Gotcha Day!

6 years ago today, myself and Mr. Hound About Town drove to Grand Rapids, MI to pick up a 20 pound ball of muppety puppy fluff from his foster home. He and his 6 siblings had been born in Texas and brought up to Michigan by a rescue where I swiftly fell in love with his blurry rescue transport pic online.

We love this dorky, silly, sensitive, ludicrously sweet and affectionate goober so much and we couldn’t be happier that he found his way into our family 🥹🩶

I’ve been a little quieter on here lately, but behind the scenes it’s been anything but!

Between fostering a puppy, welcoming new clients, and a busy spring break sitting schedule, the past few weeks have been very full…in the absolute best way ☺️

Last week we welcomed this odd couple to the Hound About Town Pet Care family:

Sonny, a very vocal, prone-to-herding-people Aussie who positively vibrates with energy (🫨😂) and Bentley, a quiet, gentle Newfoundland with the calm and peacefulness of a Zen Master (🧘🏻‍♂️)

I had such a lovely time caring for these boys and I hope to see them again soon!
