I don’t know what Tundra is whispering in Elfa’s ear, but Elfa looks absolutely shocked.

Windswept’s Quick and Brave Argos

This weekend, Argos was welcomed into the loving family of David and Doreen. They have made every effort to make his transition to their home as seamless as possible and I am thoroughly enjoying the photos of Argos surrounding himself with toys that he does not have to share with a demanding Pack.

Argos will be their loving companion, but he will also be big brother to the foster kitties that Doreen and David take in to bring back to health before helping them find their forever homes. I can only hope that Argos remembers the lessons that Emerald (our house cat) and Bustifer (our barn cat) have taught him about proper dog-cat etiquette.

David and Doreen, a heartfelt congratulations on your wonderful new boy❤️ and welcome to the Windswept family! You have a little piece of my heart there with you and I am always here for you.

Congratulations to newly titled CH Lánsamur Mist Fra Gou aka “Karma” (pending AKC approval) and her owner Dylan Telano! Thank you to judges Carrie A Chase and Jamie Hubbard for their careful evaluation of all the dogs in the ring that weekend.

A couple of weeks ago, we went to our first show in a very long while (since Maggie became pregnant). We had a great time, bringing Argos on Saturday and Sage on Sunday so they could experience the show scene…and get to meet their daddy, Crisp!

Saturday, Axel had his happy face on and was Winners Dog, Best of Winners, and Owner Handled Best of Breed
Karma was Winners Bitch and Best Opposite
Elfa was Reserve Winners

Sunday, Karma went Winners Bitch, Best of Winners, Best Opposite and Best of Breed Owner Handled
Axel was Winners Dog
Elfa was Reserve Winners

Of course, daddy Crisp was Best of Breed on both days, making his puppies very proud of him!

It’s apple picking time! Soon to be followed by apple crisp baking, applesauce making, apple pie, apple fritters, apple sangria…

What are your favorite things to do with an over abundance of apples?

I hope they post video of their run!

Congrats to Dazzler (Scout x Zora) for earning an invitation to the 2026 AKC Fast CAT Invitational!
