Highlights from Our IGP Trial! 🏆🐕 Tri State Schutzhund Club GSDCA

A few highlights, pictures, from our IGP Trial held on September 26, 2026, hosted by Tri State Schutzhund Club / John Soares K9 in Middletown, New York.

Trial Officials:

* Judge: Mike Karlov, GSDCA
* Trial Helper: Derrike Lacross
* Club Secretary: Ai Yoshino

A special congratulations to my teammate Buddy, who delivered an outstanding performance, earning:

98 – 92 – 96 | Total: 286 V

Very proud of my Buddy and our team! John Soares after 30 years training together.

Congratulations to everyone who participated and contributed to making this a successful trial.

And on a personal note, I am especially proud of my son, Carlito, for stepping up and taking on the challenge of becoming a trial helper. With the guidance and preparation of our Club Training Director, John Soares, Carlito worked hard in a short period of time to prepare for actual trial helper work and successfully earned his GSDCA Club Level Helper Certification!

A proud moment for our family and our club. The future of our sport depends on the next generation stepping up, learning, and carrying the tradition forward.

Congratulations, Carlito! 👏💪

REALLY Off-leash Obedience Lord V Hismerh Board and Train “What does a day in training look like?”
Most people think it’s a constant battle of chasing down bad behaviors and nipping them in the bud. But true training isn’t reactive.
My approach focuses on one main thing: Building a relationship of absolute trust.
Without trust, you will never have true engagement. When a dog trusts the handler, work follow naturally. Stop trying to just “fix” the problems, and start building the bond. 🐾. Contact me Directly Carlos Rojas

IGP 3
HD-normal, ED-normal, OCD-free, LTV-D

We are extremely proud and excited to welcome our newest arrival from Germany, Orla Von Pentavita IGP 3.

Orla is a highly decorated competitor at the German Bundesieger, with the working ability, character, athleticism, intensity and presence that I look for in a true working-line German Shepherd.

She was also a real crowd pleaser during her competition career, especially for the unforgettable moment when she took the helper down on the Long Bite! 💪🔥

This is the kind of working dog that gets my attention — strong nerves, courage, power, intensity and the determination to fight through pressure.

I am especially thankful to my good friend Dmitry Usvetov for importing Orla for me and making it all possible for her to be here in my possession. I truly appreciate everything you did to make this happen, Dmitry. 🙏

WELCOME HOME, ORLA! 🇩🇪➡️🇺🇸

Now a new chapter begins with Jagermeister German Shepherds. 🖤
