💙 Sweet Boy Is Still Waiting 💙

At only about two years old, Sweet Boy has already experienced the heartbreak of being abandoned. Despite everything he has been through, he remains one of the most affectionate cats you could ever meet.

He absolutely loves people and will happily greet you with gentle headbutts, asking for all the attention and affection he has missed. He truly lives up to his name—he is an incredibly sweet, loving boy who just wants a family of his own.

Sweet Boy is FIV-positive, but that doesn’t mean he can’t enjoy a long, happy life. FIV-positive cats can live wonderful lives with routine veterinary care and can often safely live with other friendly cats.

Please don’t let his diagnosis keep him from finding the loving home he deserves. Somewhere out there is a person who needs Sweet Boy just as much as he needs them. 🏡🐾

🐾 Meet Esper! 🐾

Esper’s journey began when she appeared on the porch of a kind woman in New Britain—pregnant and searching for a safe place. She gave birth before a foster home became available, but thankfully, Esper and her newborn kittens came into our care when the babies were just two days old.

Now that her days of raising kittens are behind her, Esper is ready to be someone’s baby! 💕

Esper is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves attention, playtime with her feather wand, and making sure her humans know exactly what she wants. She has plenty of personality and isn’t shy about communicating her boundaries. If you miss one of her signals, she may give a gentle little reminder nip—never aggressively, just Esper making herself understood!

She has done wonderfully with the children in her foster home and would be a great match for a family that understands and respects cat body language. In return, Esper will bring affection, entertainment, and so much love into her forever home.

Our newest intake, Aria, is ready to begin her next chapter! This petite young mama lovingly raised her kittens and watched them all find homes. Now it’s finally her turn. 💕

Aria came to us after her previous owner faced eviction. Despite everything she has been through, she remains incredibly sweet and loving. She gets along well with both cats and dogs, making her a wonderful addition to many types of families.

Aria has already been spayed and is currently getting up to date on all her vaccines. All she needs now is a safe, loving forever home where she can be cherished! 🏡🐾

Kris is a mellow, affectionate young cat who has been waiting for her forever home since May. She loves spending time with her people and will happily settle into your lap for some companionship. 🐾

Like many cats, Kris has preferences about how and where she is touched—especially along her back—and she isn’t afraid to communicate when she has had enough. She would thrive with an experienced cat owner who understands feline body language and will respect her boundaries.

Because Kris appreciates a calmer, more predictable environment, she would do best in an adult household or a home with older children who can recognize when she needs a little space. 🐾 MEET KEEKO & BIANCA — BONDED SISTERS LOOKING FOR FOREVER! 🐾

It’s time to introduce some of our older Hamden kittens, starting with beautiful Keeko and Bianca! These sweet sisters are bonded and must be adopted together. 💕

🩶 Keeko, our gorgeous grey girl, is the more reserved sister. She allows petting, but she will need patience and time to feel comfortable in a new environment. She looks to Bianca for reassurance and support, which makes their bond especially important.

🤍 Bianca, our grey-and-white beauty, is sweet, social, and loves seeking out attention from her humans. Although she doesn’t enjoy being picked up, she is absolutely a lap cat and will happily settle in for some affection!

Neither girl enjoys being carried, but they each show love in their own special way. With Bianca’s confidence and Keeko’s gentle spirit, they make the perfect pair. Their future family should be prepared to give Keeko the time and understanding she needs to blossom.

Their spay appointments are scheduled for September 9, and then they’ll be ready to begin their next chapter together! 🏡

❤️🐾 HAPPY ENDING UPDATE: MICHELOB! 🐾❤️

Michelob is doing wonderfully in his forever home and settling in more every day! His adopters say he is absolutely perfect—sweet, affectionate, and incredibly snuggly. His favorite sleeping spot is tucked right between his humans, which may be the most precious thing ever. 🥺💕

He’s also completely obsessed with his stick toy and loves dragging it around the house wherever he goes! 😂 His curiosity is growing along with his confidence, and he’s even started investigating the front door—keeping his family on their toes!

Michelob is safe, adored, and exactly where he belongs.

His adopters said it best: “We love him!” ❤️❤️
