Meet Scooby. He did his first lesson 2 1/2 years ago or so, but he was just a timid and shy little pup with no social skills and with sometimes growl when strangers came close. We started slow working on basic training to build this confidence and open up the lines of communication with him and his human. Melissa’s goal from the beginning was to eventually turn him into a therapy dog. I’m happy to say they have achieved that goal and been working with a wonderful organization, Canines For Christ / Caninos Para Cristo, providing comfort and support to those in need.
