We are still seeing an increase in heartworm positive dogs in our area. Heartworm prevention is so important and can protect against this deadly disease. This is a video under the microscope of microfilaria (baby heartworm) in the blood. This is a case from this week from a dog that is born and raised in Wisconsin.

Day 2 of botfly removal! 🪰 Another kitty today with a cuterebra!

This cute little kitten was found and brought in today with this swelling on her neck. Upon exam, we found that there was a botfly larvae in there! These are very satisfying to remove and baby kitten will feel better! 🐾

Dr. Emily did a DNA test on her new dog Ziggy! We were all surprised by the results! The Supermutt part is Maltese and Jack Russell. Can you see these breeds in him? We do know he's 100% cute!

Cooper ingested some corn cobs and his family did exactly the right thing by calling us and having us safely induce vomiting. Cooper is unsure of his decision to eat these after they came back up😂🐾❤️
