LONG POST WARNING:
When your client's dog has an accident in his crate and lays in it, you make sure you clean and sanitize everything thoroughly! Which means your client gets some free house cleaning and dog bathing services. Oops😬 someone doesn't like grooming AT ALL.. pretty sure I had as much water and conditioner on me as he did by the time I got him cleaned up and coat picked thru & rinsed thoroughlyGood thing he forgives quickly and my clothes will dry🤣 He does look HANDSOME laying in the sun air drying..I need to get a portable blower & grooming stand, but I don't think either of us needed the drying trauma after his struggle for a bath🫶 He'll look even better dry and combed thoroughly...😍🥰
p.s. I did NOT shave him, the owner's did previously bc he was extremely matted and very much dislikes being groomed. Poor fella. Y'all, Start grooming ur puppies when they're tiny. Even if they don't like it, it makes life easier later, when they're big and can hurt you in the struggle...
I had to use human conditioner as a coat slip solution so I traumatized and pulled his skin as little as possible trying to pick the remaining long, tangled hair and mats loose, and made it easier to comb thru once he's dry since I didn't plan on bathing him originally & had no dog towels, nor proper shampoo, no conditioners with me, and only half came today.. The proper conditioners and detangler won't come via Amazon till tomorrow.
I bought some to be mailed here... Can't ever have too much pet shampoo and conditioner. Note to self... pack grooming supplies to every sitting job, even if it's not scheduled to be done... Clean dogs make happy clients🤩
