ADOPT DENALI! 💜

Meet Denali — a handsome Husky/Shepherd mix with the sweetest, most resilient soul. When he was first rescued after being found starving and severely infested with fleas, there was an immediate outpouring of love and support for him. So many people were rooting for his recovery and asking to adopt him. At the time, though, Denali was not medically ready — he needed extensive care, time to heal, and help getting back to a healthy weight before he could even be considered for adoption.

Now fully recovered and healthy, Denali has been ready for his forever home for months… but his journey has still been filled with setbacks. He’s come so close to adoption more than once, only for things not to work out. He’s moved between foster homes and boarding, continuing to be let down despite how far he’s come. Through it all, he has remained gentle, loving, and incredibly hopeful — waiting patiently for the family he was meant for.

Denali is truly the perfect companion. He is 100% house trained, has excellent manners, and only barks when he needs to communicate. He loves people and greets new faces with calm curiosity and respect — no jumping, just quiet affection. He’s deeply affectionate, loves cuddles and soft kisses, and is happiest simply being near his person whether you’re out on an adventure or relaxing at home. He adores car rides, happily riding with the wind in his fur, and even politely lowers his head for his harness because he knows it means it’s time for something fun. He also enjoys enrichment toys and stuffies, showing off his playful, intelligent side.

Denali has done well meeting both male and female dogs, though he would do best with a submissive male or female canine companion due to a past conflict with a more dominant large male dog. A calm dog—or even a feline friend—may also help support his separation anxiety and bring him comfort. Denali has come so far from where he started, and he deserves a forever family who will finally give him the stability and love he’s been waiting for.

We’re feeling pretty discouraged right now. Despite reaching out and asking for help finding a new foster for Hammy starting May 1, we haven’t had any interest.

Hammy has just completed his 6-week board and train, and he has made incredible progress. He truly loves people and gets along great with other dogs—he’s ready to thrive in a home environment.

Unfortunately, if we can’t find a foster, he’ll need to stay longer, which will cost an additional $510 on top of the $630 we still owe from his training. With several recent medical emergencies as well, we’re really struggling financially.

We promise that Snow will be the easiest foster ever! Only three more days til this sweet mama has to go to boarding and it is breaking our hearts 💔 Living on the streets, having multiple litters, never being the one loved. Only the one who gave love. Help us help Snow. Going into boarding would be devastating after everything she has been through and all the progress she has made in foster care thus far.

Dearest gentle reader,

This author is most astonished that Lord Anthony—a dashingly handsome German Shepherd mix of but 2.5 months—has not yet been claimed. A gentleman so delightfully goofy, affectionate to his core, and surprisingly clever (he mastered “sit” with scandalous speed, especially where treats—or even ice—are concerned) should not linger unnoticed.

He is a devoted lap-seeker, a champion sleeper through the night, and a most entertaining companion, known for his curious, pterodactyl-like exclamations during play. He walks well, adores new acquaintances, and—after a brief hesitation—charms even the grandest of dogs, counting his foster brothers among his closest allies.

Truly, society must correct this oversight at once. Should you desire a loyal, snuggly, and delightfully ridiculous companion, Lord Anthony awaits.

Re*****on is ADOPTED! 🥳

After eight long months of waiting, Re*****on is finally adopted — and this one is extra special. He watched all of his siblings, and even his mom, find their homes while he stayed behind. Week after week, he showed up to adoption events full of hope, yet kept getting overlooked. Month after month, he waited patiently for his turn, never knowing when his moment would come.

And then, everything changed. His family came to an event just for him — they had been following his journey and knew he was meant to be theirs. The moment they met, they fell in love, and it was clear this was the ending he had been waiting for all along. Every bit of that long wait led him exactly where he was meant to be.

We are so incredibly happy for this sweet boy — happy tails, Re*****on. 💜

🚨 Foster Needed by May 1st for Snow 🚨

Sweet Snow urgently needs a foster (or adopter) by May 1st. At about 4 years old, Snow is calm, gentle, and easygoing — the kind of dog who asks for very little and gives so much in return. She’d be perfectly happy as your one and only, or with a relaxed, respectful canine companion. Busy, high-energy dogs aren’t her style — Snow truly thrives in a peaceful home environment.

If Snow does not have a new foster or adopter secured by May 1st, she will have to enter boarding. After everything this girl has survived, the thought of her sitting in a kennel when she deserves a home is heartbreaking. Boarding is the very last thing we want for her.

Compounding the urgency, our rescue is facing significant medical strain right now. Recent emergency and ongoing cases — including treatment for severe mange, coccidia, respiratory complications requiring extensive diagnostics, chronic pulmonary concerns, and a recent hospitalization case — have pushed our veterinary expenses to an overwhelming level. We are doing everything we can to keep up, but we are truly stretched thin. Keeping Snow out of boarding would not only spare her unnecessary stress, but also help us avoid additional expenses at a time when every dollar is going directly toward lifesaving care.

Please consider fostering or adopting Snow and giving her the soft landing she deserves. Even sharing this post could help her find her person in time. 💜

ADOPT DAPHNE! 🤩

Daphne is a 10 week old German Shepherd mix and this gorgeous girl is truly something special—Daphne is the full package: smart, spunky, driven, and packed with personality. She’s confident beyond her age and already keeps up effortlessly with her 100 lb foster brothers. Daphne loves to play with dogs of all sizes, but she really shines when she has bigger, confident dogs who can match her rough-and-tumble play style. She is very vocal when she plays too—expect adorable little growls, barks, and dramatic puppy noises that make her sound like a tiny gremlin whether she’s wrestling with another dog or entertaining herself with a toy on the couch.

Daphne is extremely driven and VERY mouthy—this girl will put anything and everything in her reach into her mouth, which has lovingly earned her the nickname “piranha.” She’s high energy, high drive, and naturally confident, and she will thrive in a home that understands working breeds and is ready to give her structure, training, exercise, and enrichment. Daphne is not a sit-back-and-chill kind of puppy—she is happiest when she has something to do and a brain to work. Despite her chaos, she has been wonderful in the home. She sleeps through the night in her kennel, hasn’t had any potty accidents (she’s still a baby, so that can change), and already sits so nicely for her meals—which is impressive because this girl LOVES food and is highly food motivated.

Daphne will do best in an active, experienced home with a confident owner who understands her drive and energy. She would thrive with larger, playful dogs who can keep up with her and help channel her energy. Due to her intensity and play style, a home without young children is best. A fenced yard is preferred, but she will still need daily walks, training, and adventures to truly succeed and stay fulfilled.

Daphne is one of a kind—and she’s looking for a very special home that can match everything she brings to the table. ✨

ADOPT OR FOSTER NYMERIA!! 💜

We truly can’t believe this perfect girl is still waiting. Nymeria is now 11 weeks old (almost 12!) and somehow hasn’t been scooped up yet.

She’s a Husky Shepherd mix with the sweetest personality — playful, smart, and very people- and dog-oriented. She LOVES to play, and she does best with a canine companion to run around and learn from. Another dog in the home is a must for this girl. Nymeria is happiest when she has a buddy, whether that’s wrestling, chasing toys, or cuddling up after playtime.

She’s already showing how bright she is — she knows her name, loves toys and fetch, and has the cutest habit of chasing shadows in the sunshine. For her age, she’s also doing great with potty training and is such a fun, easy puppy to have around. She’s playful, snuggly, and the whole package… we just cannot believe she’s still here waiting.
