Theon, now Duke, has found his forever home! 🥳

Born right here in our care to mama Snow, Duke has never known life on the streets. From the day he was born, he has been surrounded by love, safety, and people dedicated to giving him the best start in life. As soon as his family met him, they knew he was the one. It didn't take long for this sweet boy to steal their hearts, and we are so grateful they chose him.

Duke was one of the first Game of Thrones pups to find his forever family, and we couldn't be happier for him. While saying goodbye is never easy, knowing Duke is so loved makes it all worth it. We know he's being spoiled, cherished, and living the wonderful life he deserves.

Congratulations, Duke and family—we are so excited for all the adventures ahead! 💜

Congratulations—you've just qualified yourself to be Hammy's ideal match.

Before we get into anything else, you should know a few things about Hammy. He can launch six feet into the air for a Frisbee. He dramatically flops and submits to other dogs like he's saying, "Okay, I'm ready, take me now." And when he's really excited, he purrs like a cat and tries to dig himself a hole underneath his person. That's his way of telling you he cares. He's goofy, affectionate, and genuinely one of the funniest dogs you'll ever meet.

Hammy is a lover through and through. Laying in bed? He's there. Getting ready in the morning? Hammy's in the bathroom hyping you up. Settling in for a movie on the couch? Don't worry—Hammy already saved you a spot.

This sweet boy has been dealt some tough cards. He was dumped at a dog park over 3.5 months ago and is still waiting for someone who understands him and loves him for exactly who he is.

Does Hammy have some initial stranger danger with new people? Yes. Does he get over it remarkably fast with the assistance of his emotional support ball? Also yes.

Can he be barky when meeting new dogs? Sure. We get it. Does he become best friends with them approximately 2.5 seconds later? Also yes.

Slow introductions are the key to Hammy's heart, but once he feels comfortable, he's ready to be everyone's best friend. He's dog-friendly, eager to connect, and wants nothing more than to be included in whatever you're doing.

Let's give this sweet boy a chance to be known for more than his fear-based reactivity. The people who know Hammy know a dog who is loyal, hilarious, endlessly entertaining, and overflowing with love. He just needs someone willing to look beyond the first impression.

Congratulations to Gregory, now Zack, on his adoption! 🎉🐾

Born on the streets and facing a rough start to life, Zack's journey hasn't always been easy. With time, care, and lots of love, he was rehabilitated back to a healthy, happy boy and finally got the chance he deserved.

Now he's living in Cypress with his wonderful parents, soaking up all the love and attention as the only pet in the home. After everything he's been through, we couldn't be happier to see him enjoying the comfort, security, and devotion of a family all his own.

We're so proud of how far this sweet boy has come and can't wait to see all the adventures that lie ahead for him. Congratulations, Zack—we know your best days are just beginning! 💜

Update: Francesca had a cat test yesterday and did phenomenal! 😸

This sweet girl showed nothing but gentle curiosity around her feline friends—no chasing, no barking, and no overwhelming behavior. She was respectful, calm, and interested in making friends.

We are happy to report that Francesca is officially kitty approved! 🐾🐱

Francesca is a 4-month-old German Shepherd/Australian Shepherd mix with the sweetest personality. While she may be a little shy at first, she's growing more confident every day and continues to make great progress with new experiences.

This girl loves other dogs and is always happy to join in on the fun. She's playful, submissive, and seems to think she's just as big as her foster siblings. She also has a serious love for water—rainy days, puddles, and splashing around are some of her favorite things. Francesca also lives in a foster home with children, and she adores them!

Once Francesca decides you're her friend, get ready for a shadow. She loves being close to her people and recently discovered she can jump onto the couch, making cuddle time even easier. She's doing well with crate training, learning basic commands, and becoming more comfortable with the world around her. All she needs now is a family to continue helping her shine. 💜

🚨 URGENT: Benedict & Hyacinth Need Foster or Adoptive Homes ASAP! 🚨

Benedict and Hyacinth, German and Australian Shepherd mix siblings, have been together since they were just 6 weeks old, recovering from coccidia and mange in a medical foster home. Now, at 17 weeks old, it's time for them to continue growing and building confidence as individuals. Unfortunately, their foster family is no longer able to keep them, and both puppies urgently need either foster or adoptive homes.

🐾 Benedict is a happy-go-lucky boy who never meets a stranger. He is incredibly affectionate, playful, and full of energy, always ready for an adventure or a game. Benedict loves the water, enjoys being around people, and is the type of puppy who wants to be involved in everything you're doing. His outgoing personality and loving nature make him a joy to have around.

🐾 Hyacinth is a sweet and gentle girl who can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her personality truly shines. She loves toys, is highly treat-motivated, and enjoys spending time with her people. Hyacinth would thrive in a home with another friendly dog to help build her confidence and show her the ropes. While larger dogs can make her nervous at first, she does well with proper introductions and would especially enjoy a medium-sized canine companion.

Both puppies are potty trained, kennel trained, great with children, and have done well with other dogs. They enjoy chasing cats as part of play, but have never shown aggression toward them. They are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and will be spayed/neutered before August 15.

🚨 VOLUNTEER NEEDED 🚨

One of our incredible team members who has faithfully transported our event kennels is moving away in August, and we are looking for someone to help fill this important role!

We need a volunteer with a pickup truck who can transport 10–15 medium and large dog kennels to and from our adoption events. Kennels must be delivered to PetSmart on Arrington Road in South College Station by 11:30 AM and picked up at 3:30 PM on most Saturdays. Occasionally, we may have alternate events that will also require kennel transportation. You will be responsible for storing these kennels during the week, as well.

This role is absolutely essential to our adoption events. Without kennels, we can't safely showcase our dogs and connect them with potential adopters. If you have a truck, a few hours to spare on Saturdays, and want to make a direct impact on helping homeless dogs find families, we'd love to hear from you.

🐾 Double the Love, Double the Loyalty 🐾

Meet Riley and Jack, two sweet senior brothers searching for a soft place to land after their world was turned upside down.

At 14 years old, these boys recently lost the only home they had ever known when their beloved veteran dad had to move into assisted living. Sadly, no family members were able to take them in, and through no fault of their own, Riley and Jack found themselves looking for a new beginning.

Riley is a 30-pound gentle and affectionate spaniel mix who greets everyone he meets with a wagging tail and a kind heart. He loves attention, enjoys meeting new people, and gets along wonderfully with other dogs.

Jack, a 25-pound Jack Russell Terrier and Cattle Dog mix, is equally loving and adores being around people. While he can be a little anxious at times after all the changes he's experienced, he is incredibly affectionate and thrives with patience, kindness, and reassurance.

Both boys are great with other dogs and have spent years being cherished family companions. Now, they deserve a family who will help them feel safe and loved again during their golden years.

We know senior dogs are often overlooked, but Riley and Jack have so much love left to give. Whether you're looking for a quiet companion to share your days with or simply want to make a life-changing difference for two deserving souls, these boys are ready to fill your home with love.
