West Meade Veterinary Clinic was founded in 1974 by Dr. John A. McPeak to serve West Meade and the surrounding areas. Dr. Michael Lutz purchased the clinic from Dr. McPeak’s daughter Stephanie in 2000, expanding the practice to include exotic species care. In 2023, Dr. Lutz expanded the practice to accommodate another veterinarian, Dr. Benjamin Ramsaur, while accepting more patients from Dr. Frank Harris, who retired in 2023.

We currently treat the following species: dogs, cats, small mammals, reptiles, exotic birds, and some wildlife. The range of services we provide includes but is not limited to: Preventative Medicine, Dental care, Surgery, and Medical care.
