We celebrate the unbreakable bonds between pups and their people while also raising awareness + some much-needed funds for animal welfare & rescue groups.

The Tiny But Mighty Fund was created to celebrate the unbreakable bonds between animals and their companions, while also raising awareness and funding for animal welfare and rescue groups in the Middle Tennessee community. The fund that is managed by the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee honors the spirit of Chico, a miniature Chihuahua that passed away in 2013 from congestive heart failure, and is named for the inspiration he provided his guardian, and to serve as a reminder that even the tiniest acts of kindness can make a mighty big difference. Their October pantry is happening Saturday, October 24, from 9–11 AM for Davidson County residents, while supplies last.

Tiny But Mighty Fund is proud to stand up for pitties and help remind everyone that they are so much more than a stereotype. They’re goofy, loyal, loving, couch-snuggling, big-hearted dogs looking for someone to believe in them.

We’re shining a BIG spotlight on the pitties waiting for their forever homes at Cheatham County Animal Control and shelters across Middle Tennessee. If you’re looking to adopt, foster, volunteer, or simply help a shelter dog, please start local!

One of Tiny But Mighty Fund’s past Chico Award + grant recipients, Flying Pigs Sanctuary, is doing some seriously wonderful work for animals in need. 🐷🩷

Nestled at Lemon Lane Farm in Middle Tennessee, this microsanctuary provides care for animals healing from abuse, neglect and injuries — with a special focus on pigs who have been injured after literally “flying” out of trucks. (Yes. This really happens!)

The sanctuary was born after three pigs jumped — okay, flew out of a truck and needed help. And apparently, it’s far more common than you’d think.

At Flying Pigs Sanctuary, they believe every creature deserves a happily ever after.

Tiny But Mighty is proud to be a friend and supporter of their work.

Today, Tiny But Mighty is joining our friends at Bonaparte's Retreat Dog Rescue in celebrating Dolly’s greatest superpower: spreading kindness, love and light.
