A few years ago, I walked away from a stable federal career.
Good pay. Great benefits. A predictable future.
On paper, it made absolutely no sense.
But I knew I wanted to build something of my own. Something where I could help people and their dogs without answering to corporate policies, quotas, or someone else’s vision.
Starting Grand Strand K9 full-time was one of the scariest decisions I’ve ever made. There were no guarantees. No safety net. Just a belief that if I gave everything I had to helping dogs and their owners, it would be worth it.
Today, we’ve helped hundreds of families build better relationships with their dogs, solve problems they thought were impossible, and bring peace back into their homes.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this:
Sometimes the biggest opportunities are hiding behind the decisions that scare you the most.
