Meet Bud! 💙

Bud is an Akita who is estimated to be around 1 year old. He arrived at the shelter as a stray and sadly, was never reclaimed. Now, this sweet boy is hoping to find a forever family to call his own!

Bud is a friendly, independent pup with a gentle nature! He’s respectful and perfectly content to do his own thing, but he’ll happily come back to check in with his favorite people and soak up some attention. Bud walks nicely on a leash and loves taking his time to sniff and explore on his walks. He knows “sit,” is very treat motivated, and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a more relaxed pup to enjoy leisurely walks with before settling in for a cozy afternoon together!

Bud’s ideal home:
🐾 Bud has the potential to live with another dog! A meet-and-greet with any dogs in the home would take place at the shelter to make sure everyone is a good match.
🐱 Bud has the potential to live with a cat with slow, proper introductions.
👧 Children ages 10 and older.

Bud is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means he can head home with his future family while he waits for his scheduled neuter procedure. Once his surgery is complete, his adoption can be finalized! Until then, Bud gets to trade his kennel for a cozy home, plenty of affection, leisurely walks, and all the time he needs to settle in and show his new family what a wonderful companion he can be. 💙

Meet Elvira! 🩷

She is a petite small-breed gal estimated to be around 3 years old and weighing just 8 pounds. She found her way to us as a stray and unfortunately, was not reclaimed by an owner.

When Elvira first arrived, she was understandably nervous in the unfamiliar and noisy kennel environment. Since then, she has really come out of her shell and is showing us what a sweet, happy little dog she can be! Elvira is friendly, outgoing, and has plenty of s***k to her! 😉

She is a happy, wiggly girl who loves greeting her human friends and making new friends wherever she goes. Elvira enjoys leisurely walks where she can sniff, explore, and take in all the sights and smells around her. She walks nicely on a leash and doesn’t mind being picked up and carried by her favorite people. She already knows “sit” and is always happy to soak up some affection during her breaks from walking. With her cheerful personality and adorable little wiggles, Elvira is sure to bring plenty of fun and love to her forever family!

Her ideal home:
🐾 Dogs: Elvira has potential to live with another dog and was very playful with a shelter dog she met! A meet-and-greet with any dogs in the home would take place at the shelter to make sure everyone is a good match.
🐱 Cats: No cats, please!
👧 Kids: Children ages 5 and older.

Elvira is available through our Foster-to-Adopt program, which means she can head home with her future family while she waits for her scheduled spay procedure. Once her surgery is complete, her adoption can be finalized! Until then, Elvira gets to trade her kennel for a cozy home, lots of affection, leisurely walks, and plenty of time to show her new family just how much personality can fit into 8 little pounds!

Meet Nymeria! 🩷

She is a beautiful blue-eyed Husky who is estimated to be around 10 months old! She is petite and weighs 40 pounds! She came to us as a stray and sadly, was never reclaimed. Now, this happy-go-lucky girl is ready to find a family of her own!

Nymeria is a friendly, fun-loving pup who brings plenty of personality wherever she goes! At just 10 months old, she still has plenty of puppy in her and will benefit from continuing to work on her basic manners and training. She loves to run and play in the yard, zooming around with a big smile on her face. Toys and stuffies are also a favorite, making Nymeria an all-around fun companion! Because of her playful nature and youthful energy, Nymeria would love a family who enjoys staying active and can give her plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and continued training. She already knows “sit” and is always happy to show off her skills when there are treats involved!

Nymeria’s ideal home:
🐾 Dogs: Nymeria has potential to live with another dog and has enjoyed meeting other dogs at the shelter! A meet and greet with any dogs in the home will be required to make sure everyone is a good match.
🐱 Cats: She has potential to live with a dog-savvy cat with slow, proper introductions.
👧 Kids: She has potential to live with kiddos aged 8 and older.
