Accessible Service Dogs: Training & Matching Program
Many find service dogs inaccessible due to high costs (often over $30,000-50,000). Our program aims to change this by making service dogs affordable for individuals on disability, fixed incomes, and similar financial situations.
We carefully select dogs (8 weeks to 2 years old) from humane societies, rescues, and rehomings. Each dog undergoes thorough temperament testing and vet checks to ensure they have the stability, confidence, and work ethic required for service work. We then match each dog with a handler based on their specific needs, budget, and lifestyle.
Our professional training covers:
• Psychiatric alert & response (PTSD, CPTSD, anxiety, autism)
• Medical alert & response (heart rate, blood sugar, blood pressure)
• Mobility assistance (light and heavy tasks)
• Sighted guide tasks
• Inquire about other tasks not listed
*Note: We do not currently train guide dogs.*
Choose between two training options:
*Started Service Dogs (1-1.5 years): Includes basic/advanced obedience, socializing, exposure, potty/crate training, public access, and task foundations. Comes with 1 week of handler training.
*Fully Trained Service Dogs (2-3 years): Customized to handler needs, covering all aspects from obedience to comprehensive task training. Includes 2 weeks of handler training and a free program vest.
To ensure accessibility, we offer flexible payment plans after an initial deposit, especially for individuals on disability, Social Security, veterans, teachers, first responders, EMTs, and those with low incomes.
Each dog placed through our program includes:
• Careful temperament testing and selection
• Veterinary checks
• Professional training foundations
• Lifetime trainer support
• 1-2 weeks of in-person handler training
We also provide transportation options across the U.S. Pick up your dog in person or arrange to meet halfway if requested.
📍 Located in Oklahoma, we place dogs throughout the U.S. We are open to exploring placements in Canada or outside the U.S but not guaranteed.
