Two successful litters. Excellent mother. Fosters as if she birthed them.
Last litter was 8 babies zero DOA.
Produced a grand champion with 8 legs for me that placed 8th out of 27 senior does at convention this year.

This is why I require a deposit and why I will require that deposit to be paid within 24 hours from now on. This girl was offered and accepted a doe from me. I communicated my policy for a deposit and how she must be paid in full before I leave for the show. I gave her time and checked in with her. With no response. This weekend I had several inquires for a doe for fiber and could have sold her. Instead I honored MY word and held her for her only to be told she assumed since she didn’t respond to me that I would automatically KNOW she didn’t want her. This person will go on my do not sell list and her actions has made me change my policies to avoid this in the future.

It’s always a wonderful weekend when you can show bunnies, hang out with some amazing ladies I don’t get to see often AND spend time at a fiber fest!!!

We took the brokens out for their very first evaluation as exhibition English. They got wonderful comments and excellent feedback! Stella Artois was the judges favorite with Joey Martin commenting that he wished he could give her best of breed!

The rest of the baby English hopped out for their first show as well and racked up so many ribbons. I am so very blessed to be the steward of such amazing animals.

Teet Chou, the blue doe, got 2 best of breed, a best opposite of breed, and two reserve in specialty

Gibbs (Leroy Jethro variety) got 3 best opposite s*x and one best of breed as well as one reserve in specialty!

We entered the United Angora Rabbit Club’s wool skein and garment contest with my purple poncho which won best garment, Colette’s last shearing won best wool, and my English/Blue Faced Leicester sheep/giant angora blend two ply mint yarn won best skein AND best in show!

I can’t wait for next year!

Little Miss Ma Barker cracked up all the judges this weekend. Every time they touched her she started honking at them. When they read her ear number (HBMaBarker)they cracked up because she was barking at everyone 😂😂😂😂
