A small peak into my workflow when it comes to trials. This is how I organize and cull through 5,000+ images from a weekend.
1. Create all needed folders (whether its by Breed Group, Arm Bands/Bibs, Class, etc)
2. Dump Everything into a "Sort" folder
3. Slowly start the first pass of culling. For this trial (IGP) I went by phases. Podium/Awards, tracking, obedience, BH, and then tomorrow I start on protection
4. Simultaneously, once I finish all the images of one phase, put the images in the correct sub-folder. In this case, bib numbers.
5. Once the first pass of culling is done, I work through a second pass of culling to eliminate duplicates.
6. Editing begins! I will be doing this folder by folder.
