Although we have the same horses, instructor, and riders, our new home location is now in Matoaca, Virginia! Lessons didn't have time to wait and we are up and operating!

With our new location, we finally have a permanent name... HICKORY HAVEN EQUESTRIAN, along with a new page. Please take the time to like our new page! "Furrow Farm" page WILL BE DELETED THIS WEEK! Most of the past captured memories have been transferred to the new page.

Horseback riding lessons aren't all about riding horses in circles... we paint horses, trail ride, and ride "Gators."

With our September Back-to-School theme (and all the rain) we are learning horse parts, names of horse equipment, and reviewing tacking up and riding position basics!

September has arrived, and so has school! The horses and riders did a great job this week battling the heat and participating in our "Back to School" game! Pictured is one of our youngest riders that just started posting and steers like a pro. Great job girlie. 🐎😎
