Congrats to Barry Bollinger! Our older Daisy babies are proud of their daddy!

A pleasant surprise in the mail today and yet again Mason being recognized. A big shout out to Jennifer Broome for trusting in Mason as your pick Sire and Trusting me to help develop and campaign Gertie on a very tuff Horseback circuit here onhere on the east . It been a fun ride ! Jen and Quinebsugs Spear of Strength aka Gertie are quite the team! Jen has also scouted most of Gertie’s wins for me. Thank you again !

What a week! Merle and Inca (Mason x Daisy) had a truly wonderful experience at the Oklahoma City dog show this past week, and we introduced three new puppies, Hugo, Daphne, and Sadie, (Ice x Daisy) to the show ring as well!

Here’s our recap:

Wednesday:
Merle- Winners Dog for 2 CH Points
Inca- Winners Bitch, Best of Winners for 2 CH Points
BPup with Sadie- It was a Sh! #$how, but we still earned a Group 3 ribbon (out of 3 Breeds...)

Thursday All-Breed:
Merle-Winners Dog, Best of Winners for 2 CH Points, thus finishing his Champion Title!
Inca-Reserve Winners Bitch
BPup with Hugo- Another Sh! #$how, another Group 3!

Thursday Sporting Specialty:
Merle- Mom showed him this time around due to a ring conflict with our handler. No love for Merle, but Ringside Hounds did capture my favorite photo from the entire show!
Inca-Winners Bitch, Best of Winners for 2 more CH Points!

Friday All-Breed:
Merle-Select Dog for 2 Grand Champion Points
Inca- No love.
BPup with Hugo- Hugo made a friend! A sweet junior handler offered to show him for me. Yet another Sh! #$how, but he had fun!

Friday Sporting Specialty:
Merle- Select Dog for 2 Grand Champion Points
Inca- Winners Bitch for 1 CH point

Saturday All-Breed:
Merle- Best of Opposite S*x for 2 Grand Champion points, Champion defeated
Inca- Reserve Winners Bitch
BPup with Daphne, Hugo, and Sadie: Back to being a Total Sh! #$how! Daphne was Best of Breed, Hugo was Best of Opposite S*x, Sadie got no love, and we did not earn a group placement that day.

Sunday All-Breed:
Merle- Was not feeling well and we’re all just happy he made it out of the ring without creating his own Sh! #$how…
Inca- Reserve Winners Bitch for 1 CH point
BPup with Daphne and Hugo: Perfection! Both Pups did so good! This time, Hugo went Best of Breed and Daphne was Best of Opposite S*x; Hugo went on to win a Group 3 out of 5 Breeds!!! Sweet, sweet progress!

As Kari Adams would say, that’s the way our cookie crumbled. We saw a lot of progress with the Daisy babies and managed to have a great time doing it!

Our sweet little Inca (Prairie Valley's India Ink) traveled to ABQ, NM this past weekend and won her first major by going WB/BOS at the Coronado Kennel Club dog show on Sunday under Judge Marie Ann Falconer. Inca also picked up a bonus point for going WB later that day at the Sporting Dog Fanciers of New Mexico specialty show under Judge Joyce Vanek! Inca is from our Mason x Daisy litter, owned by us and handled by .

We were well-represented at the Hawkeye Brittany Field Trial in Iowa this past weekend. Sloan (Prairie Valley's Dime Piece, owned and handled by ) went 1st in Open Derby and 2nd in Amateur Derby! 🥳 🏆🏅 Her sister, Grace, (CH Prairie Valley's Saving Grace, owned by us and handled by ) went 3rd in Open Derby. Both of these girls are from our Sitka x Tilli litter and are loaded with talent. Looking forward to seeing what all they will accomplish in the future!
