As we kick off 2026…
A quick introduction and some updates on how we’re doing business this year.
Feeder Factory is a partnership between Reffitt Reptiles and Backwoods Balls—two reptile breeders who teamed up to produce enough feeders for our own collections, with the occasional extras available for sale to help offset feed and bedding costs. We don’t have a storefront or set business hours; both of us hold down full-time jobs and family responsibilities, so we handle feeder requests in whatever spare time we can carve out. One partner lives on-site, while the other commutes 30 minutes each way for meetups.
We truly appreciate our great customers—you’re the reason we enjoy doing this.
That said, we’ve recently dealt with a few situations where customers have shown little respect for our time: no-shows for scheduled pickups, arrivals up to an hour late, or showing up unannounced and then leaving negative feedback online when feeders aren’t immediately available.
To make things fair and sustainable for everyone in 2026, we’re implementing the following policy for all feeder sales:
• All orders now require at least 24 hours’ advance notice.
• We’ll set a mutually agreed-upon appointment time.
• Please arrive on time. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, we unfortunately won’t be able to serve you that day, and a new appointment will need to be scheduled.
