As We Kick Off 2026...
We'd like to take a moment to introduce ourselves and share a few updates about how we'll be handling feeder sales this year.
Backwoods Feeder Factory is affiliated with Backwoods Balls, a husband-and-wife team of reptile breeders. We produce enough feeders to support our own collection, with occasional extras available for sale to help offset the costs of feed, bedding, and care.
We are not a traditional retail business and do not operate a storefront or maintain regular business hours. Both of us work full-time jobs and have family commitments, so feeder sales are managed during the limited free time we have available.
First and foremost, we want to thank our customers for your continued support. We genuinely enjoy helping fellow reptile keepers, and we appreciate every person who chooses to do business with us.
Unfortunately, we've recently experienced several situations that have made it difficult to continue operating as we have in the past. These have included missed pickup appointments, customers arriving significantly late, and unannounced visits followed by negative reviews when feeders were not immediately available.
To ensure we can continue providing quality feeders while respecting everyone's time, we will be implementing the following policies effective immediately for all feeder sales:
Backwoods Feeder Factory Pickup Policy
• All orders require a minimum of 24 hours advance notice.
• A pickup time must be scheduled and agreed upon by both parties.
• Please arrive on time for your appointment.
• Customers arriving more than 15 minutes late will need to reschedule for another day.
• We are unable to accommodate unscheduled or unannounced visits.
We hope you understand that these policies are not intended to inconvenience anyone, but rather to help us continue serving our customers while balancing our work and family responsibilities.
Thank you for your understanding, your support, and your business. We look forward to providing you with quality feeders throughout 2026 and beyond.
