One week later- we started out with 8 but, unfortunately we lost one on Sunday. That was tough, watching him take his last breath was heartbreaking.. he was our smallest one only weighing 14.7 oz. He wasn’t latching on to mama, I switched him to formula , feeding him with a pipette and he was eating pretty good, but he was just too weak.. we still have 7 healthy puppies - mama is doing good, shes feeding her babies pretty good! I’m excited to watch them grow - into their little personalities.

We’re gonna have 7 puppies- but one more MIGHT be hiding somewhere behind another puppy.. I’m excited and nervous and totally not ready for (possibly) 8 puppies!! Oh my goodness! I’ll post pictures on Tuesday of the little bundles of joy! I pray we have healthy, content, and happy babies that will bring joy to their new families …. I might not want to part with them !! lol

Naangoons has an infection in her uterus. 😢 she very lethargic for almost a week. This morning she was bleeding, I pressed on her stomach and she gushed out blood. Called the vet and they did some tests and an ultrasound, it’s positive for pyometra, it could have been life threatening if we didnt bring her in, 😢😢😭 she’s getting spayed this afternoon. We really wanted to Breed her, but we also still want her in our life she’s such a loving Dog, loves to cuddle, I can’t imagine life without her- so this is what needs to be done .. 😢
