Some dogs don't need a busy salon.

One of the reasons I started Dogwood Grooming was because I wanted to offer something different. Not every dog enjoys being around a room full of barking dogs, loud dryers, and constant activity.

Some dogs do best with a quieter environment, extra breaks, and a little patience.

That's why appointments at Dogwood Grooming are one-on-one. Your dog gets my attention throughout their visit instead of being shuffled between multiple dogs all day.

Sometimes that means a nap in my lap before heading home.

One thing grooming has taught me is that most dogs aren't trying to give us a hard time...

They're usually having a hard time.

A lot of dogs that people label as "bad" are actually nervous, confused, overwhelmed, or simply haven't had much experience with grooming.

One of my favorite things is seeing a dog come back for their second or third appointment and realizing they're starting to trust me.

Those little wins mean a lot.

(That being said... there are definitely a few dogs out there that know EXACTLY what they're doing. 😂)

A Few Openings This Week!

I finally have a few appointments available later this week and next week!

As much as I love seeing a full schedule, I also love being able to help those last-minute "Oh no... my dog is looking rough" situations. 😂

Whether your pup needs a bath, haircut, nail trim, or a good deshed, I'd love to help.

One of the best parts of working from home is being able to focus on one dog at a time instead of juggling a room full of pets. It keeps things calmer for the dogs and honestly makes the whole experience more enjoyable for everyone.

🐾 Face trims
🐾 Feet trims
🐾 Sanitary trims
🐾 Maintenance packages

These are great for:
• keeping eyes clear between haircuts
• helping stay on top of matting
• keeping paws cleaner
• helping nervous dogs ease into grooming
• dogs that just need a quick tidy-up

Please note that all services are by appointment only, I do not offer walk-in services at this time.

Comfort always comes before perfection here ✂️🐾

This sweet little guy got lots of rest breaks and did amazing for his spa day.
