Dog ownership is not always pretty, it can be messy....especially with two young similiar aged dogs going through adolescent periods together throughout different timeframes. Even when the dogs absolutely ador each other, there can still be miscommunication, there can still be stressful events that impact the dogs individually.
All dogs need consistency with training and socialization - all dogs need viewed as an individual so they can be trained in the most effective way for them as an individual.
My newest additional definitely has some issies with genetic weiriness, I know for a fact she has never had negative experiences that impact this behavior. She needs continued socialization, confidence boosting training and an understanding to her emotional responses to things so her training can be geared in a successful way.
Every milestone I am so proud of her, but there has been two events now that made her crawl back into her fear at times irrationally.
Then the training is geared to address that, within a few days she levels back out and is back to her normal self.
Adolescent dogs are not for the weak 🤣, but please don't give up. In the end all of your hard work will pay off and you will end up with a wonderful well rounded dog.

Some days we take it back to the basics like this, other days they are spooning on the couch....really I am in love with them all the same and they love each other. 🥰
