When the current political climate hijacked the American flag I stopped wearing this hat. Then I reflected and thought, F$%k no! I love this country and am one of 4 men in my family to serve. So I'm taking my power back! Thanks Ralph Lauren!

Quote by Elliot Erwitt:

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.”

"LOVE"
New Living Translation (NLT): The word appears over 600 times.
So I guess having an atitude of "LOVE" is important. So show a little of it today......

Romans 8:37 states: "No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us" (NIV). [1, 2]
Written by the Apostle Paul, this verse addresses believers facing intense suffering, hardship, and persecution. Its core message highlights that, despite life's worst circumstances, our victory and unshakable security are already guaranteed by Christ’s love

Put on some comfy shoes and get started......

Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit." — Galatians 5:25 (NIV)

What It Means
To "keep in step" means to align your daily actions, thoughts, and decisions with the Holy Spirit's guidance. Rather than running ahead on your own or lagging behind, it is a daily practice of walking in rhythm with God's presence and allowing Him to set the pace.

The heaviness you feel will be eased by your Heavenly Father, so move forward with confidence knowing he will always lighten your load. If these cattle know it, how much more should you?

Matthew 11:28-30
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Memorial Day; More than BBQ and backyard fun. Pay tribute to those friends and family that serve, have served, and died for us to have a day to celebrate.....

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States observed annually on the last Monday of May to honor and mourn military personnel who died in service. Originally known as "Decoration Day," it emerged in the aftermath of the Civil War as communities gathered to decorate fallen soldiers' graves.

General Orders No. 11 (1868): On May 5, 1868, Major General John A. Logan—head of the Union veterans' organization known as the Grand Army of the Republic—established "Decoration Day". He selected May 30 as a date to decorate the graves of Union troops with flowers, specifically chosen because spring flowers would be in bloom.

First National Observance: The first large national celebration took place on May 30, 1868, at Arlington National Cemetery, where participants decorated both Union and Confederate graves.
