Mia gave a beautiful example in how consistency in ignoring and avoiding a behavior can get the puppy to go away. You become interesting and the puppy realizes that they don't get interaction with unwanted behavior!

A little bit of training each day does a lot. Change it up and make it fun! We always start with how to exit the crate and have some time outside before training. We worked on sit, down, side, place, recall and introduced touch. This is a sneak peek into our training sessions now that she is recovered. Starting to shape the behaviors that I want. I also added a snippet on how to introduce touch.

The cast is officially off! But 2 more weeks of rest. So she is getting all sorts of cognitive toys to occupy her. She is learning to sit before exiting the crate. We are also practicing her sit and down on command and her leash walking is improving 😉. I can't wait to let her run and play again!

So a little update on Ester. She had an accident last week. She broke her leg.😅😢 she was in a splint for a few days and she got a cast yesterday! But her foot has doubled in size so, picture number 2 you can see us working on a down and adding in cooperative care with a cold pack. She has been so great through it all. Everyone at the vets office loves her! ❤️ Looks like she is healing well. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful pup.
