meet Nyx & Samson!
i’ve known Sammy since 2020 & Nyx since 2021, and these two could not be more opposite if they tried!😂

Sammy is definitely the introvert of the pair. he likes to keep to himself and observe from a safe (and hidden) distance…but once he decides you’re worthy of his attention, he loves some lovin & attention.

Nyx, on the other hand, is the extrovert! she’s always ready to be part of whatever is going on and has a much more outgoing personality.

they may be complete polar opposites, but sometimes the best pairs are the ones who couldn’t be more different 🐱🐶

Meet Baloo!

I got to spend the day with this sweet boy, and i absolutely adored him. Baloo is definitely on the shy side at first, but don’t let that fool you. He’s such a gentle & loving pup. He just needs someone who’s willing to be patient and let him come out of his shell at his own pace.

Today we took a trip to the park, rode around, and even stopped for a pup cup (which he was a BIG fan of). He did such a good job the entire time! He calmly watched the ducks from afar and noticed other dogs and was great being in the passenger seat. I could tell he’d do well with other dogs and animals.

If you’re not quite ready to adopt, he is now eligible for doggy day outings. it’s a great way to get him out of the shelter for a few hours, love on him a little, and help him build confidence while he waits for his forever family.

if you’re planning to travel this holiday season, now is the perfect time to reserve your pets care.

Parker’s Pet Cafe is accepting bookings year round, and my holiday calendar is now officially open. Holiday availability is limited, so i encourage booking early to secure your dates.

Please note:
• Holiday reservations are now being accepted.
• Parker’s Pet Care will be closed on Thanksgiving Day & Christmas Day to allow time with family.
• Holiday bookings are subject to availability and holiday policies

bad weather with anxious pups?

try calming music! my favorite is the jellyfish. i use this music for my own pups and started doing it for the animals i sit for and have noticed a complete difference in their anxiousness being alone or during bad weather. 🩵

📢 BOOKING POLICY UPDATE

To better manage my schedule and ensure availability for all clients, repeated & new, ALL bookings for Parker’s Pet Care will now require a $50 non-refundable retainer to reserve your dates.

This applies to all services including:
🐾 In-Home Pet Sitting
🐾 Drop-In Visits

The $50 retainer is not an additional fee. It is applied toward the total cost of your booking. For shorter bookings (such as some drop-in visits for cats), if the total cost of your booking is less than $50, any remaining balance will be refunded after services are completed.

Dates are not reserved until the retainer has been received. This policy helps prevent last minute cancellations and allows me to confidently reserve my calendar for committed clients.
