Sweet Acres Farm

☀️ Beautiful weather, great rides, and even better company! 🐴💛

Just a candid moment from yesterday at Sweet Acres! Five of our riders enjoying some time together after their lessons on a gorgeous fall afternoon.

We love seeing the friendships that develop here. Riding lessons are about so much more than learning to ride. They're about building confidence, sharing experiences, and connecting with others who love horses just as much as you do.

These are the moments that make Sweet Acres special! 💙🐴

There’s something so special about a team that, in between classes, is having fun, laughing, and supporting one another. 💙

At our show this weekend, our students opted for games of Go Fish, braiding each other’s hair, and simply enjoying being together between their classes. When someone’s helmet didn’t fit quite right with their hair up in a net, teammates were quick to lend theirs. Everyone cheered each other on, helped one another get ready, and celebrated each other’s successes.

And it wasn’t just the kids! Our parents stepped up without hesitation, offering extra bobby pins and hairnets, helping wherever they could, and giving encouraging words to girls who needed them. It was so heartwarming to see everyone looking out for one another, not just their own child, but every rider on the team.

These are the moments that make me especially proud of this team. Of course we’re here to ride, compete, and grow as equestrians, but watching these kids become such close friends and seeing our families come together to support them means just as much.

What a wonderful community we’ve built. I’m so excited to watch these friendships, and this team, continue to grow. ✨🏇

A BIG WEEKEND FOR SWEET ACRES! ⭐️

What a weekend of showing for our riders! From wrapping up the Gray Horse Jumper Series on Saturday to our Sweet Acres IEA team hitting the ring on Sunday, there was so much to be proud of.

⭐️ Finley & Cleo finished out their Gray Horse Jumper Series in the Pre-Novice division with two 2nds and a 3rd, earning Finley enough points to finish as the overall Gray Horse Jumper Series CHAMPION! 🏆 We are incredibly proud of all the work Finley put in throughout this summer series and how much this pair has grown together!

Then it was an early morning on Sunday for our Sweet Acres IEA Team! For many of our riders, this was their very first outside show, for all of them their first time doing IEA, and they handled a completely new showing experience wonderfully.

⭐️ Iliana competed in JV Intermediate, bringing home a 4th and 5th.

⭐️ Finley jumped right back into the show ring after Saturday, competing in JV Novice and earning a 4th and 5th.

⭐️ Olivia N., Keirston, and Olivia S. represented us in JV Beginner Walk/Trot, finishing 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively!

⭐️ Desi competed in a very competitive Futures Beginner Walk/Trot class and put in an absolutely amazing round!

⭐️ Paisley and Oakley competed in another very competitive Futures Beginner Walk/Trot class, bringing home 5th and 6th, respectively!

Beyond the ribbons, we are so proud of how all of our riders represented Sweet Acres this weekend. They supported their teammates, adapted to unfamiliar horses, listened to feedback, and gave every ride their best effort.

A fantastic weekend of firsts, growth, great rides, and lots to celebrate. Congratulations to Finley on her series championship and to our entire IEA team on a great show! We can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings. ❤️🐴
