The Playhound Bus

The Playhound Bus Morgantown's First and Only Dog Bus and Day Camp! Hi, we’re The Playhound Bus and Camp Playhound. PICK UP
We pick up your pup right from your front porch.

Morgantown’s first and only, windows-down, tongues-out, best day ever Dog Bus and Daycare. Fur real. (Had to.) As your dog takes his or her seat on the Playhound Bus, we’ll blast Who Let The Dogs Out because dogs love hype music. That’s a fact. PLAY HARD
When we get to Camp Playhound, this is typically when dogs lose their minds. It’s literally everything they’ve ever dreamed of. One fully-fenced acre of room to roam featuring…
Splash Pads
Pools
Tires
Tunnels
An Agility Course
Toys
An Automatic Ball Launcher/Fetch Machine
Tents
Cots
Shade Trees
Snacks
Water
An opportunity to get their steps in. The possibility of becoming Internet Famous. DROP OFF
At the end of the day, we load back up on the bus and head back to your house for drop off. Have their newspaper and slippers ready, because they earned it.

As part of the 2026 Municipal Government Week celebration, the City of Morgantown is excited to announce its inaugural Wiener Dog Races! Have a a tail-wagging good time watching our speedy pooches compete in racing divisions for Puppies, Adults and Seniors, with the winners facing off in an exciting championship race. The fun won't stop at the finish line, though! Enjoy food trucks, children's activities, community vendors, pet-related organizations, opportunities to meet city officials, and a pet costume contest certain to bring plenty of smiles.

You'll also have the chance to learn more about elections and civic engagement, including the process of registering to vote, becoming a poll worker, running for City Council, and more. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enjoy an interactive "Vote for Your Favorite We**ie" polling booth experience. Bring the whole family (and your favorite four-legged friend) for an afternoon of fun, food and friendly competition!
