I don’t do many wrap jobs like this at all but once a year for the last couple a friend calls and asks if I can help her out for a fundraiser she’s working on. I always try and help. This is a 20.6’x20.6’ dance floor wrap. (*disclaimer- the floor is uneven and flexible in spots which results in some bubbles, or the appearance of such. ).

It’s been a while but we’re busier than ever! I hope to regularly share pics of projects, big and small, that may help others come up with ideas.

This one was special. I always really enjoy working with the administration at Morgantown High School. They came to me with an idea and thankfully, we were able to make it a reality. This one was cool for several reasons but my favorite was because my boys helped me so much with this one. They work like grown men at the ages of 15 and 12. We spent hours getting this one from blank sheets of 4’x8’ - 1/2” acrylic, to where it is today. Design, fabrication, assembly, installation and more. Hours and hours of work goes on “behind the scenes” that most may not realize or think about. I have two kids at the school now and one will be there in a few years. This is a project that will last well into the future and hopefully they’ll be able to reminisce one day about it all (the good and the bad) and realize all of the lessons we all learned.

(This is the first of a multiphase project. We’ll be adding more to it for the other sports in the near future).

Things have been busy at the shop. Today we just finished up another van for my good friends at Bad Lizard Granite & Quartz, LLC. If you find yourself in Morgantown this weekend check out their booth at the home show at Mylan Park. You will not be disappointed.

I recently added a large laser engraver/cutter to my shop. This machine can do a lot of cool things and one of those is engrave items such as tumblers. In the last several weeks I’ve made close to 15 dozen for various organizations. If this is something that your business or sports organization would like to do (they make a great fundraiser), please reach out!

We’re also fortunate to have a great relationship with several area schools. Morgantown High is one of the largest high schools in the state and can be confusing to new students and other visitors when trying to find their way around. A couple of weeks ago we installed some nice acrylic directional signs to help with the new school year that started today. Here a just a few of the 40-45 signs that have been installed so far. We pray for a safe and fun school year to all of the students, teachers and other staff.

Always great to work and partner with West Virginia University athletics. August is always a busy month helping them prepare for football season. The last few weeks have been hectic making several things for them that are inside the player and coaches areas. Those items usually aren’t seen very much but my latest project will surely been seen by a few more.

Just finished a busy few days of producing and installing new mesh banners around the stadium just in time for the home opener in a few weeks. The smallest of these banners measured 36’x9’ and the largest was 16’x42’….17 of them in total. If you’re fortunate enough to make it to a game in Morgantown be sure to check them out!! Hey y’all!! I have been worse than awful about keeping up with social media for the shop!! Just because we’ve been quiet on here doesn’t mean we’ve been slow…just the opposite actually. The good Lord has blessed me with an over-whelming amount of work at times and we’ve been the busiest we’ve ever been. Hope to make several posts a week on here from here on out.

On Thursday I traveled to Clarksburg and installed etched vinyl for Watson Law, PLLC. You can also see the 3’x2’ double sided high density urethane sandblasted sign I made for him in the pics. The before and after pics are below. Thank you Kevin for the opportunity to help your firm grow!!
