🐾 **A New Name for a Special Place — Introducing Blue Ridge Comfort Lodge!** 🐾
We’re excited to share that **Paws & Claws of Morganton Special Needs is becoming Blue Ridge Comfort Lodge!**
When we first opened our smaller Special Needs location, it was created to provide an alternative for dogs who may need something different from a traditional lodging environment. Over time, that purpose has become even clearer—and we felt it was time for this special little facility to have an identity of its own.
💙 **Blue Ridge Comfort Lodge specializes in personalized, comfort-focused lodging for dogs who benefit from a smaller, quieter setting.** This includes senior and geriatric dogs, diabetic dogs, dogs needing extra attention before or after surgery, smaller dogs who may be overwhelmed in a larger facility, and others who simply thrive with more individualized care.
Our new name reflects what we want every stay to feel like: **comfortable, peaceful, personal and tailored to the individual dog.**
While our name is changing, the heart behind what we do is not. You can still expect the same experienced team, individualized attention and commitment to caring for each dog based on *their* needs.
This change also gives **Blue Ridge Comfort Lodge its own identity**, separate from Paws & Claws of Morganton, and allows us to continue developing specialized services designed around quality of life, enrichment and the unique needs of the dogs we serve.
