Today was a heartbreaking day at Facowee Farms as we said goodbye to Flash, lovingly known as Bubba. 💔

Bubba was part of our farm family, and caring for him each day was a privilege. His handsome face and sweet presence will be deeply missed. The barn will feel different without him here.

Our hearts are with his owner, who loved him so deeply. We’re grateful she could be beside him until the very end, reminding him what a good boy he was and how much he meant to her. He spent his final moments surrounded by love.

Thank you to Dr. Kelly and the staff at Ridge and River Vet for your kindness, compassion, and gentle care.

Rest easy, sweet Bubba. Thank you for being part of our lives and our farm. Run free, beautiful boy—you will always hold a place in our hearts. 💙

🐴 Unique Horse Boarding Opportunity – Morganton, GA 🐴

A special boarding situation has just become available on our property in Morganton, Georgia.

We have 3 acres of lush pasture, a 12' x 24' run-in barn, and a fenced dry lot available for one horse or donkey.

We’re specifically looking for a Jenny, mare, or a well-behaved older gelding who would make a good companion for our sweet 2-year-old Jenny, who recently lost her pasture mate. 💔 Because companionship is the priority, temperament and compatibility are very important.

Boarding is $400/month and includes:
• Feeding twice daily
• Fescue hay as needed
• Pasture turnout
• Access to the run-in barn and dry lot

This would be a great fit for someone looking for a quiet, private boarding situation rather than a large commercial barn.

Days like this are never easy and saying goodbye is harder when it’s one that you foaled out yourself almost 30 years ago. Thank you everyone that helped me in the last 12 hours. Pocket was one of the good ones. 💔🪶

Brave Heart is our newest addition to the farm! He’s 32 years young and such a sweet boy ! Our barn is now full, thank you Tracy for entrusting us with your wonderful guy.

Fans and automatic fly system in each stall
Twice a day feeding and stall cleaning
Daily turn out in individual pastures
Hot and cold wash bays
Tack room
Access to Chattahoochee National Forest for trail riding
Boarding fee includes feed, hay and shavings 
Owner lives on property with years of equine and veterinary experience.
