AweDogs Dog Training Family Owned & Operated Dog Training and Boarding in Lake Norman We take a different approach than the other dog trainers in Charlotte, NC.
(3)

Our programs are designed not only to create happy, confident, fun dogs, but to also prove the behaviors created against the most severe distractions. This unique and gentle approach to dog training allows us to start training puppies as early as 8 weeks old and progress them rather quickly. Unlike traditional training programs, we concentrate on teaching dogs a system of learning rather than a few basic commands. Once the foundation of learning is established, they can begin to figure out pretty much any new behavior in a matter of a few minutes.

We just want to take a moment to say how truly grateful we are for our AweDogs clients 🐾

Every dog and every family we work with is different, and we don’t take it lightly that you trust us to be part of your training journey. Watching your progress, your consistency, and the bond you build with your dogs is the most rewarding part of what we do.

If we’ve worked with you and your dog, we would be so appreciative if you could leave us a Google or Facebook review. Your feedback not only means a lot to our team, but it also helps other dog owners find support when they need it most.

Thank you for being part of the AweDogs family—we’re grateful for you!

There’s nothing we love more than getting to know each dog that walks through our doors. 🐾

Every personality, every quirk, every challenge—they all matter to us. We don’t just “train dogs”… we build relationships, earn trust, and help each dog become the best version of themselves.

Watching their confidence grow, seeing them understand what’s being asked, and helping create better communication between dogs and their owners… that’s why we do this.

We truly love what we do, and we’re so grateful for every single dog we get to work with. 🤍

Not every dog needs more exercise.

Not every dog needs more commands.

Most dogs need clarity.

Clear communication.
Clear expectations.
Clear leadership.

That’s what changes everything.

Playtime Isn’t Just Fun – It’s Essential! 🐾

At AweDogs, we know that playtime is more than just tail wags and zoomies. It’s a vital part of your dog’s physical, mental, and emotional health!

Why it matters:
• Mental stimulation: Games like fetch, tug, or puzzle toys keep your dog’s brain sharp.
• Physical health: Regular play helps maintain a healthy weight, strong muscles, and good energy levels.
• Behavior boost: Dogs who get enough playtime are less likely to develop destructive or anxious behaviors.
• Bonding time: Every session is a chance to strengthen your connection with your furry friend.

Whether it’s a backyard romp, a walk at the park, or learning new tricks, playtime is the secret ingredient to a happy, balanced pup.
