Through outreach and education, we advocate for animals in our community and are committed to bringing about a time when there are no more homeless pets. We believe every life matters.

Monty is still waiting for his family to find him💔

It is absolutely mind boggling how this boy keeps getting overlooked!

Monty is 5 years old, 59 pounds of personality, resilience, and love wrapped up in the world’s cutest bully mix package — complete with the most perfect ears you’ve ever seen 🥹

Monty’s story didn’t start easy. He was rescued from the streets of San Antonio underweight, patchy-haired, and unsure of the world around him. But despite everything he’s been through, Monty chose trust. He chose love. And with patience, structure, and guidance from his foster, he has absolutely blossomed.

Monty is crate and house trained, walks amazing on leash, food and toy motivated and a total goof ball! Monty has the patience of a saint, and a heart of gold. He's never met a stranger or dog he didn't adore! He is incredibly patient and gentle with his foster's special needs son, which is no surprise considering he LOVES people and forms deep bonds with his humans.

He’s playful, affectionate, hilarious, and happiest when he gets to be involved in daily life. Tug toys? Obsessed. Playtime? Absolutely yes. Cuddling afterward? Even better.🐾

Monty thrives with structure, routine, and humans who understand bully breeds and appreciate their loyal, goofy nature. He doesn’t need perfection — just someone willing to continue giving him guidance, exercise, boundaries, and love.

Monty has spent too many years watching other dogs leave rescue while he stays behind. But we refuse to believe his forever family isn’t out there somewhere. The right person will see beyond the “long resident” label and realize what an incredible dog he truly is.💗

Meet Artemis! Endearingly referred to as “Artie” by his friends 🐾🤍

This 5-month-old Pittie mix is basically sunshine in puppy form. At 30lbs, Artie is full of goofy energy, endless affection, and the kind of personality that makes everyone fall in love instantly.

Artie is the total package:
✔️ Crate trained
✔️ Sleeps through the night
✔️ Great in the car
✔️ Smart & eager to learn
✔️ Dog friendly
✔️ Professional snuggler

He’s playful, confident, and absolutely LOVES other dogs. Wrestling, zoomies, chase games, kiddie pools — if there’s fun happening, Artie wants in. He’d thrive with a playful dog buddy who can match his energy and continue helping him learn good puppy manners 🐶

But when the excitement winds down? Artie turns into the sweetest cuddle bug. He loves curling up beside his people, carrying toys into your lap, and following you around like your tiny shadow. He even tilts his head when you talk to him like he’s trying to understand every word 🥹

For such a young puppy, Artie is impressively easygoing and adaptable. He entertains himself well, settles nicely in his crate, and is already learning commands like “sit,” “down,” “kennel,” and “go to bed.” He’s food motivated, eager to please, and genuinely loves being part of family life.

Like any puppy, he’s still polishing up his manners; working on potty training, leash skills, and remembering not to jump when he gets excited. Because he loves people SO much, he’d likely do best with older or dog-savvy kids while he continues learning.

Artie is ready for a family who will include him in adventures, continue his training, laugh at his goofy antics, and give him all the love he deserves 💛

He truly is one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs.

Disney crew pupdate 🐾🤍

It’s hard to believe this family was once struggling to survive in the dumping grounds. Today, Minnie is safe, loved, and finally able to focus on being a mom without worrying about where her next meal will come from.

Her puppies are growing so quickly, full of energy, and have started eating wet puppy food. They are all healthy, thriving, and reaching new milestones every day. Watching them transform from vulnerable little babies into happy, playful pups has been incredibly rewarding.

We are so grateful we were able to step in and help this family when they needed it most. Seeing Minnie and her babies safe, healthy, and surrounded by love is exactly why we do what we do.

How has nobody adopted Poppy yet? 💔

For over 6 months, this beautiful girl has waited patiently in rescue while other dogs come and go… waiting for her turn to be chosen.

Poppy is the definition of a perfect family dog. She’s gentle, affectionate, goofy, well-mannered, and loves absolutely everyone she meets. At 5 years old, she’s past the chaotic puppy phase but still playful, fun, and full of life.

She’s the kind of dog who will happily follow you from room to room, lean against you for pets, carry your shoe to her bed like it’s a prized possession (without ever chewing it 🥹), and melt into a puddle for tummy rubs and chin scratches.

Poppy loves other dogs, especially little ones, and has done beautifully with pups of all sizes. She’s also incredibly patient and gentle in the home, even around a baby. She knows how to sit, give paw, sleeps well in her crate, and is eager to learn anything if treats are involved 🍖

She loves tennis balls, squeaky toys, cozy naps, making new friends, and being with her people. Poppy is truly the perfect companion and we know her furever family is out there!

Over 365 days in foster… and not a single application for Dory. 💔

We honestly can’t understand how this sweet girl keeps getting overlooked, over and over again.

Dory is the kind of dog who just wants to love and be loved. She’s the first one ready for an adventure, whether it’s a morning run, a hiking trail, or a walk around the neighborhood — but at the end of the day, all she really wants is to curl up beside her person and soak up every bit of affection she can get.

At just 2 years old, Dory is still young, playful, and full of life. She LOVES other dogs and would thrive with a confident canine buddy to help continue building her confidence. She’s goofy, affectionate, submissive, and gives the best belly-up cuddles with her paws in the air and her silly grin on full display 🥹

She’s also:
✔️ House trained
✔️ Crate trained
✔️ Great on leash
✔️ Smart and eager to learn
✔️ A professional cuddle bug

Like many dogs who haven’t always had stability, Dory can be a little nervous meeting new people at first. She may bark when she’s unsure, but once she feels safe, she becomes your shadow and loyal best friend. She’s already making amazing progress and just needs someone willing to continue helping her feel secure and loved.

Dory deserves more than being passed over again and again. She deserves a couch to call her own. A family who sees how special she is. A person who won’t give up on her.

Meet Georgia 🤍🐾

Georgia was found on the side of the road in Dallas with her sister, who has since been adopted! Georgia is now looking for her forever home too. She is a BEAUTIFUL 5-month-old Anatolian Shepherd/Boxer mix with the sweetest heart and the cutest playful personality. At around 35 pounds and growing fast, she’s in her fun, goofy puppy era and learning more every single day ✨

Georgia is fully vetted, spayed, vaccinated, and up to date on all preventative care — she’s officially ready to find her forever family!

This smart girl is already crate trained and doing amazing with her potty routine! She’s still a puppy, so she’ll need a family committed to helping her continue learning and growing with patience and consistency.

Georgia LOVES to play, adores toys and treats, and enjoys spending time with other dogs. She would thrive in a home with other dogs! Because she’s still working on her puppy manners, she’d do best with older, dog-savvy kids who understand energetic puppies, but we think she would adapt quickly💕

This gorgeous girl is looking for a new foster (or forever home!) and she has so much love to give. Akira is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle bug; she loves walks, playtime, cozy naps, and being close to her people.

She’s house-trained, crate-trained, smart, affectionate, and ready for a safe place to land while she waits for her forever family.
