This is NOT a shame-on-them post! I have **totally** done this and this family had a LOT of other things going on in their life. Things happen and trust me, this dog is very much adored.

If you have a longer-haired dog and you bathe them without brushing/combing them before the bath… or after the bath… you get a wool dryer ball with legs that demands you feed them. It is an easy thought process to think “well, at least they’re clean if I give them a bath when I don’t have time to brush them.” It has happened to nearly all of us and it’s not a permanent problem, so relax - you’re normal 😁

I am now moving into the longer-haired dog variety (still 40 lb. and under) and would be happy to come out before it gets this bad 😁. (No guilt or shame required if it is like this. See statements above ❤️)
