Love spending time with these big pups. Went for walks with each of them and enjoyed this beautiful day.

Rufus - learned paw today and was a perfect ‘sit/stay’
Daisy - Enjoyed the flowers and helped with the storm cleanup by picking up sticks whenever she could.
Lucy - loved her walk and showed what a good ‘sitter’ she is.

All of these super friendly dogs are still waiting for their forever homes. If you are interested in meeting any of these wonderful pups, please submit an application, if approved we will set up a meet and greet. No walk in meetings please. We do not adopt out of state so NJ, residents only please.

Happy Caturday!!!!

Meet Marvin! Marvin is a super friendly, affectionate, and social boy who is searching for his forever home.

Marvin’s story is heartbreaking. He was found frightened, scarred, and covered in fleas and ticks in a truck trailer yard. Nearby, someone had discarded his bed and a bag of cat food along the side of the road. Despite everything he had been through, Marvin’s sweet spirit never faded.

When one of our volunteers arrived and began opening cans of cat food, Marvin came running over to greet her. It was clear he was craving kindness and companionship. She scooped him up, brought him to safety, and the rest is history.

Since arriving at the shelter, Marvin has shown everyone what a loving and resilient cat he truly is. He loves attention, enjoys being around people, and is always ready to make a new friend. Marvin has left his difficult past behind and is now looking for a family that will give him the love, comfort, and security he deserves.

Marvin is approximately 3 years old, feline friendly, neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
If you would like to meet our cats and kittens, we will be open to the public between 9-12 and 3-4 Monday through Friday, (weekends appointments available for approved applicants) for meet and greets. We still ask you to fill out an application prior to coming to speed up the process. If your application is approved, you will be able to adopt the same day! Congratulations Daisy!

Daisy graduated from training at Garden State K9 where she learned heel, sit, down, come and climb (go on the bed and stay). Her trainer said she is smart and very sweet (we think so too). Daisy will continue her training with the shelter staff and volunteers and bonus the adopter gets a free session at Garden State k9 to help with her transition into her forever home!

Daisy a lovable, gentle girl with a heart as big as she is! Three years old and just over 100 pounds she is super friendly, loves everyone she meets, enjoys attention will melt into you for pets. She loves to go for walks, is playful and will ask for belly rubs every chance she gets.

Happy Caturday!!!!
We have some new super cats looking for a home!
Meet Rosewood’s (also up for adoption) kittens from last years litter; the boys Oak and Mahogany and the girls Birch and Maple. All inherited their mother’s fantastic personality and surrendered from the same house. These cats are super, over the top friendly and social. They all live together in a big kennel and they all rub, purr, and climbing on you for attention. They would do great in pairs but could also go by themselves.
They are approximately 1 year old, feline friendly, spayed/ neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

It’s Fido Friday!
Daisy 🌼 is a sweet lovable 3 year old who loves attention, is playful and a bit silly. She never misses an opportunity for pets especially belly rubs and will happily give your a high five. She loves going for walk and just chilling with you in the shade.

Daisy completed her first week of training at Garden State K9 where she learned a few new commands including heel and climb (go on your bed and stay). Her trainer said she is very smart and a very sweet girl. (We think so,too!)

We have some new super friendly kittens looking for a home!
Meet Cucumber Salad and Tomato Salad! These black tabby brothers are both super cuddly, sweet, and social with lots of purrs. They can go together or separately.
Our gray and white female Macaroni Salad is an adorable and sweet little girl that loves attention and will rub and dance around for pets. When you stop she’ll reach begging for more.

Always makes me smile to see the pure joy of a dog rolling in the grass.
Lucy enjoying life!

Lucy is a super friendly and sweet 5 year old. She loves people and would be happy just being with you. She walks well on the leash, loves carrying around her toys and loves peanut butter!

Happy Caturday!!!!
We have some super friendly kittens looking for a home!
Meet bonded siblings Cobb Salad and Wedge Salad. Cobb the orange boy is adorable and full of orange-ness and Wedge is a medium hair and has crazy ear hair. They are both super cuddly and sweet with lots of purrs.
Caprese Salad is a handsome longhaired boy and is a little puff ball with the softest fur. He is also very cuddly with lots of purrs. His best friend is Potato Salad (orange female).
Potato Salad is the sweetest little girl with lots of purrs and muffin making. Her best friend is Caprese Salad (longhair gray boy). She came to us as a tiny kitten with a really bad eye infection. Unfortunately the infection caused damage to both her eyes so the vet thinks she may have some sight loss. She can definitely see and she acts like a normal kitten but her eyes aren’t that pretty. But what she lacks in looks she makes up in personality. She is truly a special little girl.
