Happy Caturday!!!
Meet our “ball” themed kittens! These kittens are the best litter! They have been in a foster home since they were itty bitty and the time put into them really shows. They are extremely friendly, brave, and playful. They will literally jump into your arm and purr constantly. These would make great first time kittens or they would be great with little kids because of how social they are. They are about 3 months old, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. We still have about 15 more kittens looking for homes.

If you would like to meet our cats and kittens, we will be open to the public between 9-12 and 3-4 Monday through Friday, (weekends appointments available for approved applicants) for meet and greets. We still ask you to fill out an application prior to coming to speed up the process. If your application is approved, you will be able to adopt the same day! Happy Caturday!!!

Meet Joey! He was part of the “friends” themed kittens in 2022. He was adopted but unfortunately his parents got divorced and no one could take him. He is a wonderful, social, friendly boy that gets up and greets everyone that comes into the adoption room. In his previous home, he lived with 2 dogs, another cat, and children and was great with everyone.
Joey just turned 4 years old the beginning of August and he is neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
If you would like to meet our cats and kittens, we will be open to the public between 9-12 and 3-4 Monday through Friday, (weekends appointments available for approved applicants) for meet and greets. We still ask you to fill out an application prior to coming to speed up the process. If your application is approved, you will be able to adopt the same day! It’s Fido Friday and we have some very exciting news! Our handsome boy Rufus got adopted today!!!
To encourage other people to adopt Rufus’s girlfriends (Daisy and Lucy) they sponsored their adoption fee! We want to give a big thank you to Cat and Chris for being so generous and we are wishing you the best of luck with Rufus.

Lucy and Daisy are spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccination and tested negative for heartworm/ lyme.

Happy Caturday!!!
We still have an over 20 kittens up for adoption! This week we would like to introduce you to our pirate themed kittens. We have the boy Barnacle and his sisters Treasure, Avast, Skallywag, and their newly adoptive sister Ahoy. We’re also starting a ball game theme, so this little polydactyl (extra toes) had to be Baseball with his big mitts. They are all super friendly, social, and playful.
Everyone is 3-4 months old, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccinations & parasite preventatives and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

It’s Fido Friday!!!

It’s official, Daisy, Rufus, and Lucy have recently made a shocking career decision…

They have decided to change their breed to Labradors. 😂🐕🐕🐕

Why, you ask?

Because apparently being an extremely friendly, social, loyal, people-loving dog who LOVES to play fetch is not enough. They figured if they added “Lab” to their résumé, surely someone would notice them!

🎾 Love to fetch? Yep.
❤️ Love people? Absolutely.
🐾 Super social? Of course.
🤝 Loyal to their humans? 100%. Lab-level loyalty.
🥰 Ready to be your best friend? Immediately.

These three sweet goofballs may not have actually been born Labradors, but they’ve clearly decided that Lab is a state of mind.

They are friendly, affectionate, social, loyal and eager to make their humans happy. And if you throw a toy? Well… they will happily provide their best Labrador impression. 🎾😂

So if you’ve always wanted a Lab but are willing to accept “Lab-ish,” “Lab at heart,” or “Labrador by self-identification,” come meet these three!

They don’t care what breed you call them.

They just want to be called YOURS. ❤️🐾

Wiggle butt Wednesday!

Look at that happy tail! Rufus is such a good boy, a bit goofy and playful, great on leash, loves walks and knows sit, down, come and climb.
He’s a graduate of Garden State K9 and bonus, the adopter gets a free lesson to help with his transition into his new home.

It’s Caturday and Sycamore would like to file a formal complaint. 📣

Apparently, the accommodations here at the Montville Animal Shelter are “completely unacceptable.” 🙄

The food? Could be better.
The room service? Nonexistent.
The staff? Fine… but they’re not available 24/7 for cuddles.
And don’t even get him started on the fact that he has to WAIT for someone to come give him attention. 😾

Sycamore is a VERY talkative gentleman and has plenty to say about his current living situation. He will happily tell you all about his day, his opinions, your day, and probably what you should have for dinner. 😂

But underneath all that complaining is a COMPLETE LOVE BUG. ❤️

Sycamore is an extremely friendly, social, stage-5-clinger cat who believes personal space is highly overrated. He wants to be wherever his people are and would love nothing more than to have a home where he can be your constant companion, professional cuddler, conversation partner, and personal shadow.

🏠 Sycamore is ready to upgrade from his “luxury shelter suite” to a REAL forever home.

Happy Caturday!!!!
We’re exploding with kitten! Today we present Hilti’s (also available for adoption) kittens. They are “Saw” themed and came to us as little babies so they’ve had a lot of handling and are very friendly.
Snow Cone is part of the 7 other boardwalk food themed kittens. She is very sweet and playful.
Cane Smash (boardwalk game theme) super friendly and absolutely adorable.
Riley (no theme, it was just a cute name for her) even though she looks like Cane Smash, she is not related. She is a tiny little girl, very sweet and gentle. She purrs, rubs, and plays but she’s a little timid with strangers. She does have an ear tip but she’s not feral.
We still have over 30 kittens for adoption so if you’re looking to add to your family. Please fill out our application.
