🎆 Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

While we celebrate with friends, family, and fireworks, many of our dogs are experiencing one of the most stressful nights of the year. Here are a few ways you can help your pup feel safe:

🐾 Exercise earlier in the day to help burn off energy.
🏡 Keep your dog indoors before the fireworks begin.
🎶 Turn on calming music, a TV, or a white noise machine to help mask loud sounds.
🦴 Offer a long-lasting chew, stuffed Kong, or favorite enrichment toy to keep them occupied.
🛏️ Create a cozy “safe space” where they can retreat if they’re feeling anxious.
🚪 Keep doors, gates, and windows secure—frightened dogs are more likely to try to escape.
🏷️ Make sure your dog’s ID tags and microchip information are up to date, just in case.

If your dog struggles with fireworks every year, remember that fear can be improved with the right training plan. Don’t wait until next July—start working on building confidence long before the next holiday.

While we celebrate with friends, family, and fireworks, many of our dogs are experiencing one of the most stressful nights of the year. Here are a few ways you can help your pup feel safe:
