It was so much fun making these arrangements for the Saint Mary’s Corpus Christi celebration! Next year I hope to have more of the flowers coming from my own garden.

I cut these last Tuesday before we left on vacation and forgot them on the counter while we were gone. No air conditioning, no water changes! I can’t believe how good they still look! We should have some bouquets ready for sale later this week. I can’t wait for your kitchen table to share some of the beauty too!

I hope everyone had a great Mother’s Day yesterday. We enjoyed the beautiful weather early in the day, and watched the thunderstorm and rainbow out the window. What a beautiful day! Next year hopefully we’ll have flowers to add to the beauty.

The mini tunnel came down yesterday, I planted gladiolus, stock plugs and yarrow, and the kids helped me clean out the drain ditch so that the basement won’t flood when we water the pasture.

Had a moment of sheer panic when I got home from choir practice last night and realized the cows had knocked over the garden fence. Miraculously even though the weeds were chomped to the ground, they did not eat or stomp on the snap dragons I had planted out, nor did they damage any of the plants in the tunnel. Whew! That was a close one!

I put together the irrigation system for all the garden areas that the flood irrigation won’t reach. I diagrammed my plan so I would get it all straight. By no means great art, but at least now I’m sure everything will actually get watered.☺️

The peonies are sending up buds. I’m hoping I’ll have some other things blooming so we can open the stand for Mother’s Day, but we’ll see what happens.
