Pretty cool mail day at Hund Haus!

We were recognized by BusinessRate as the Best Pet Groomer in Montoursville for 2026, based on our Google reviews!

This recognition is based on verified customer feedback and publicly available review data, which makes it pretty special to us because those reviews came from YOU.

Every time someone takes a few minutes to leave a review, it does more for our little business than you probably realize. It helps new clients find us, gives someone a little extra confidence when deciding who to trust with their dog, and apparently… sometimes it even results in mail like this. 😂

So, we figured this was the perfect opportunity to ask:

If you’ve brought your dog to Hund Haus and loved your experience, would you consider leaving us a Google or Facebook review?

And if you’ve already left one, THANK YOU. Truly. Your kind words, recommendations, referrals, and continued support have helped us build Hund Haus into what it is today.

We’re incredibly proud of the reputation our team has built, but even more grateful for the people and pups behind every single one of those reviews.

Here’s to giving Montoursville dogs really good haircuts in 2026 and beyond🐾

Quick scheduling update from Hund Haus!

Sara, our lead groomer and scheduling manager, is off enjoying a very well-deserved weekend away!

Please be patient with us if you’re waiting on a return call or message. Sara will be catching up on calls, messages, and scheduling early next week when she returns.

We hope she enjoys every minute of her time away, she certainly deserves it!

Today, we had the honor of giving Athena her Goodbye Groom.
Sara came in before her shift this morning just to make sure this sweet girl could spend her final day feeling clean, soft, comfortable, and so incredibly loved.

Goodbye Grooms are such an equal mix of devastating and beautiful. We know when these appointments are booked that there is a family preparing to say one of the hardest goodbyes they will ever have to say. And somehow, in the middle of all that heartbreak, we get to be trusted with a tiny piece of their final day together.
We take our time. We keep things quiet. We give extra snuggles, move at their pace, and spoil them with as much love as they’ll let us give.

Athena crossed the rainbow bridge peacefully today, at home, surrounded by her favorite people and laying in her favorite place in the yard.

To Athena’s family, thank you for trusting us with your girl today. Thank you for allowing us to love on her, pamper her, and make sure she felt her very best before going home to spend those final precious hours with you.

These grooms break our hearts every single time. And they are one of the greatest honors we are ever given at Hund Haus.

Our Goodbye Grooms are offered at no charge to established Hund Haus clients when that difficult day comes. It is simply one final way we can care for the dogs and families who have trusted us with their care throughout their lives.

Rest easy, beautiful Athena. You were so very loved. 🐾
