Hi there! Thanks for checking out our Reynie (aka Chevy) who is currently for adoption!
She is a 2005 registered tobiano Paint mare., Approx 15 hands. Five months Professional training in 2015.
Seasoned trail horse, calm and confident, crosses water and isn't spooky. Very gentle demeanor and sweet personality. Looking for an experienced rider with a soft, patient hand. Could be the perfect horse for a young rider who has some experience. I rescued Reynie from a feedlot (headed to slaughter) in 2014. With no background on her, I worked along side my trainer to get her to trust again. When I got her, she was flighty, scared of everything, and unmanageable. She was never mean, just so afraid for some reason. Since then we put 5 months into training, had a tooth pulled (was rubbing on bit), chiropractic care (had lack of muscle in hind end and too much muscle in neck, most likely due to tie down used prior) and gave her lots of love and care. She has been a great horse since, totally transformed. But, she has been sitting in my pasture with my other rescue horses for past 3 years. I would love to see her go to a patient loving family. My goal for Reynie is to find the best fit for her.

It's been a rough year and an even tougher winter on my last 4 rescue horses. Any help is appreciated. Looking for feed, round bales or any hay until spring arrives.
Here is a picture of Tango, this handsome guy has been with us since rescued off the feedlot in 2015. His off and on lameness makes it impossible to rehome him. We ❤ this sweet boy!

Just got a few calls about horses in need. Looking for forever homes or at the very least foster homes. Potential adopters must have references! Located in Puyallup: One pony, unsure of size, approx. 8-10 years old. Caretakers was told the pony showed at one time. Friendly. Also, a big white Mule. Friendly. Unsure of age. Both have been together for months and have been abandoned at a farm. Need homes fast as Caretaker has medical issues and has a hard time feeding. Sorry, no pictures. Contact us for more info.

January 20th, 2016 - Ace was placed in a wonderful home last June. He has really been living it up there being ridden and cared for by the whole family. But for unforeseen circumstances, the family will have to move and cannot take him with them. We are looking to place him into another loving home as quickly as possible. Ace is a 10 year old Quarter horse. Came to us in January from the Sunnyside feedlot. Destined for the slaughter truck. He was said to be a dude ranch horse. He is about 15hh tall and stocky build. Ace is a great guy, very friendly and loving to people. Doesn't spook and leads great. Although, he is a bit stubborn, likes to go at his own slow pace when ridden. Never bucks, never bites. Stands for farrier. He is herd bound and likes to be top dog. With our herd of 9, he must be separated as he thinks he is a stallion and will constantly chase the other geldings away. That is his only downfall. We currently keep him with one mare and he does great. Ace also has a history of "escaping" non-electric fences. If you have a hot wire, he is good. Otherwise, he may wander. Ace would thrive in a home with anyone from children to adults who want to mosey around on a nice looking horse. He has no known health issues, only that of one hoof that has a bit of thrush. His feet are like rocks and he has never shown any signs of lameness. He is also a very easy keeper. He is UTD on all vaccines and de-worming. We have a bunch of pictures and even some recent video of him. We will add more as we get it. If you are interested in Ace and want to come check him out, ride him, pet him or whatever, please do not hesitate to call or message us. We are asking $500 adoption fee for him and that would require a contract along with an initial trial period of 30 days, so that you can determine that he would be the right fit for your family.
**Please note that Ace has been with horses early this year that had the Strangles virus. All horses have been treated and released by the veterinarian. There has been no signs of strangles with any of the horses since May 2014. Our farm has undergone complete quarantine and disinfection. And, All horses were properly quarantined as per the veterinarian recommendations. Strangles vaccinations will also be given this fall following guidelines given to use by our veterinarian. We recommend that you quarantine any new horse for 30 days, whether from our farm or your neighbors. November did not want to load in the trailer but with some time we managed to persuade her that it is no big deal. :) She is such a good girl.

November had a visitor today! The meet and greet went well. Thank you Cheryl and Family for coming all the way to our farm to meet us! This might work into something special for November. Fingers crossed.... :)

Today Ace was adopted. It was bittersweet to leave him with his new family, but we know he will be loved. And he has a few new "ladies" to hang out with. Best of luck Ace, we will miss you.
