What a great day for a trail ride!!! Age 16 to 78!!!!!!!!!! Mrs.Paula (78) came out with her lovely Hayley and had a good little hack! Aubrie (16) - the most awesome barn help- rode sweet Amigo! Dusty was a good baby boy and our leader the old sage Blue Eyes did his job! I forgot to get creek pics! But they did lovely ! 🥰

So thankful for our farmers and neighbor Mr. Tim for cutting hay that will feed our babies this winter! This will likely be our last season cutting as this will be our next pasture we open for boarders.

Toofie day todayyy!!!! Thank you Breanna Angleberger for doing such a great job!!!!! 7 horses in 4 hours is not too bad! She’s such a good clinician and so good to the babies!! Wolf teeth gone for my Hallie, hooks and sharp points for any and all- gone!!! So glad our guys are more comfortable now! Even the boys got some junk cleaned out 😜 !!!! Iykyk!!!

Busy already this morning working on new trails and shaded area for the new pasture. I believe if you have the option you should always give your horses shade in the woods, I also add run in’s but this is the favorite hang out spot usually! With our Carolina heat it’s better there than in the barn! The awesome Peter Hostler already hard at work!

We had an equine nutritionist out today to discuss our feed regimen, inspect our hoses body scores and test our hay. It was very helpful! What I’m very proud of is that we needed to change very little with the 11 hoses in the barn. Julia was very helpful with some suggestions and tips to maximize what we are doing! Our hay tested fantastic in protein and all the other categories! We might change some supplement recommendations based on the SCIENCE! I’m a science nerd yall! We got some great tips for the air ferns as well!!!!! I love to see the data! Thank you Julia and Cargill!

Today was one for the books! 3 babies out on a trail ride with happy mommas!!!! Dusty (grey) is 4, Theo (paint) is 3 and Flynn is 5! They did so well! A nice warm up in the arena then we hit the trails! Love our farm and the friends that call it home❤️. Our barn has 2 more stalls for board! We need some ladies to come join us!! 😍

The barn is filling up! Almost full! We do have two more stalls open, preferably for mares! We love the ladies too 💗 Contact me today for a tour or to get on the wait list! I’m opening up a pasture for pasture board in a few months which will be open to geldings or mares at this point.
