Silver Mesa Morgans Full service Morgan horse show barn, emphasis on FUN! Silver Mesa Morgans specializes in the training and presentation of the Morgan horse and riders!

Other breeds are accepted on individual basis. We offer competent and kind training in western pleasure, hunter pleasure, english pleasure, in-hand, trail, ranch riding, and reining. We participate in local open shows, regional breed shows and our grand national show in Oklahoma. We invite you to experience the fun of the Morgan horse and our Silver Mesa barn family!

Special delivery today, as we delivered Derby (NF Vaquero) to his new home with Jaclyn Gamboa ! He hauled like a champ and settled into his new digs with happy confidence! We LOVE that he's staying in the family too! Lots of fun ahead for these two! 🎄💜

On our way home from a great season opener, The Key Classic show! Decent weather, good rides, great people! And the 70s theme exhibitor party knocked it out of the park!!
Kathy and Devon leveled up in Western dressage for a nice 3rd place, and Devon was introduced to trail. At home she does the gate wonderfully....but this show gate had flowers and a bright rope....she thought it was going to eat her! 🤣
Kathy and Devon had a nice ride in Masters as well.
Kyndle and Reba also moved up a level in Western dressage and claimed the high point! They also re-visited trail with much more success than a couple yrs ago, earning a respectable 3rd! They are also trying a new division, sport horse, and Reba seems to approve.
Kiersten and Yankee played in the Ranch pen. Yankee seems to prefer this much more than Western pleasure and shows a lot of potential!! He won the open rail with David and did nice pattern work.
And the star of our group was probably Kim and Rev! She won qualifier and championship Adult walk/jog AND successfully completed her FIRST EVER walk/trot/lope class. She may have finished 6th, but that's the best damn green ribbon ever!
Our Chef Mike served up delicious meals, as usual, including smash burgers, nachos, and our new annual (because were close to the ocean) seafood feast!
Thank you to our peeps for loving the journey, and thank you to the show committee for putting on a spectacular 50th Key Classic!! 💜
