Hello everyone! Since I've gained a few new followers, I thought I should reintroduce myself!
My name is Siara Neiderhiser. I'm 40 years old and originally from Lubbock, Texas. I am married and have an 18 year old daughter. I've always loved animals and at one time, even thought about becoming a veterinarian or zoologist. Instead, I've worked in the pet retail industry for over 20 years and even did a short run as a vet tech.
I actually started petsitting over a decade ago when I was living in Cincinnati, Ohio. I had a couple I knew ask me to come to their house once a day and feed their cats, scoop their litter boxes and give them some love. The money was good but the joy I got was so much more than I expected.
Over the years, I've had a few friends ask me to do the same, including staying overnight and cleaning their homes while they were away. It was almost a year ago now though that I decided to start my own petsitting and house cleaning business. As of April, Love and Scrub will offically be a year old!
My services include watching almost any pet you could imagine! There are a couple dog breeds that I'm slightly hesitant around but as long as I can meet and spend some time getting to know them before staying with them, I do fine. For longer stays, I also like to make sure your home is in the same or better condition than when you left.
I can do drop-ins, overnights, boarding for small creatures or just short potty breaks for those cute, new puppies who might need a bladder break! My price quotes are based on the service, location and the number and type of pets I'm taking care of.
