Lots of playtime, walks, cuddles, and of course plenty of attention while his mom was away. He was such a good boy and made my two days with him so much fun! 🐶💕

I’m not just dropping by your house, letting your dog outside, and leaving. 🐾

When I come to care for your pets, I’m there to actually spend time with them. ❤️

Your pets aren’t a chore on a checklist.

They’re family.

During my visits, I take the time to:

🐶 Give them multiple potty breaks throughout the visit
🎾 Play, exercise & provide enrichment
❤️ Give them plenty of pets, cuddles & affection
🐕 Socialize and interact with them
🥣 Make sure their food & water needs are taken care of
💊 Follow medication instructions when needed
🧹 Clean up accidents or messes
👀 Pay attention to their behavior and wellbeing
📸 Send you pictures & videos during every visit

And most importantly…

I pay attention.

If something seems different with your pet, I’m going to notice it.

If they’re not acting like themselves, I’ll tell you.

If they had an amazing visit, you’ll hear about that too. 😂❤️

I don’t sugarcoat my updates just to tell you what you want to hear. You deserve to know exactly how your pet is doing while you’re away.

🎉🐾 ONE YEAR OF PAWS ON THE GO! 🐾🎉

I honestly can’t believe I’m saying this…

It has officially been ONE WHOLE YEAR since I started Paws On The Go Pet Care & Dog Walking. 🥹💗

When I started this little business a year ago, I had no idea where it would take me. I just knew that I loved animals, I loved caring for them, and I wanted to create something of my own.

One year later, I’ve had the privilege of welcoming so many amazing pets and their families into my life. 🐶🐱🐰🐠🐾

I’ve cared for cats and dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities, as well as rabbits, fish, and other small animals. I’ve cared for households with up to 7 pets, helped with medications, and gotten to know so many pets and their individual little quirks. ❤️

But the part that means the most to me isn’t just the number of visits or pets I’ve cared for.

It’s the trust.

Every time someone hands me their house keys and trusts me with their pets, they’re trusting me with members of their family. And that means more to me than I can put into words. 🥹

There have been busy days, stressful days, unexpected challenges, and days where I’ve wondered if I was really doing this right.

But there have also been wagging tails, purrs, happy greetings, puppy kisses, goofy personalities, quiet cuddles, and so many moments that reminded me exactly why I started. 🐾❤️

August is historically one of our highest intake months and that leads to some of our highest numbers of animals in shelter too, meaning more animals needing care, support, and homes.

Hi everyone! My name is Kenzi, and I’m the owner of Paws On The Go Pet Care & Dog Walking. I provide in-home drop-in pet sitting visits for all kinds of pets—not just dogs! Whether you have cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, or other small animals, I’d love to help care for them while you’re away.

What makes my visits different?

🐶 I don’t rush through my visits. I truly believe pets deserve more than a quick potty break and goodbye. I typically spend 1-2 hours at each visit, depending on the number of pets and their individual needs. My goal is to make your pets feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

During my visits, I provide:
🐾 Feedings & fresh water
🐾 Medication administration (including insulin injections if needed)
🐾 Multiple potty breaks throughout the visit
🐾 Walks, exercise, and playtime
🐾 Plenty of love, attention, cuddles, and companionship
🐾 Detailed updates with photos and videos after every visit so you always know how your pets are doing

I have 8 years of experience working with pets of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I also have pets of my own—a Redbone Lab and a Flame Point Siamese cat—so I understand how hard it can be to leave your furry family members behind.

One of the biggest reasons I love offering in-home pet care is because I know not every pet does well in a boarding facility. Many pets become anxious when taken out of their familiar environment. Staying at home allows them to keep their normal routine, sleep in their favorite spots, and receive one-on-one care without the added stress of boarding.

Before your first booking, I also offer a complimentary Meet & Greet so we can get to know each other, discuss your pets’ routines, answer any questions, and make sure everyone feels comfortable. I also use service agreements and liability waivers to provide added peace of mind.

It’s been a little quiet over here lately! Life has been busy, but I wanted to pop in and share a little update.

June and beginning of July was filled with lots of tail wags, happy faces, and visits with some wonderful pets! I got to spend time with Jake, Freyja & Thor, Millie & Bella, and Piper & Baxter. 🐶🐰

I’m so grateful for every client who has trusted me to care for their pets. Getting to be a part of their routines and seeing their personalities shine is truly the best part of what I do. 🐾❤️
