It’s the little things that make in-home pet sitting so special. 🥹🐾

Their favorite toys.
Their favorite bones.
Breakfast in their own bowls.
Their normal potty breaks.
Their favorite spot in the grass.
A few extra belly rubs when they aren’t quite ready to come inside. 😂💗

For Tilly & Dobby, this morning was simply another morning at home—and that’s exactly how I want their visits to feel. ❤️

No strange surroundings. No need to adjust to a new place. Just their normal routine, their familiar space, and someone there to give them plenty of attention while their family is away. 🐶🏡

And honestly, getting to be part of those little everyday moments is one of my favorite parts of what I do. 🥰

🐰 FUN FACT: I’ve pet sat a bunny before!

Dogs and cats might be the pets people think of first when they hear “pet sitter,” but I’ve also had the opportunity to care for a bunny — and I’m happy to care for small animals, too!

Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, birds, fish, reptiles… every pet has their own routine and needs, and I take the time to learn what works for them. ❤️

Because whether your pet has four paws, tiny paws, fins, feathers, or scales, they deserve someone who actually takes the time to care for them. 🐾

Behind Paws On The Go is a mom who is constantly juggling school, family, pets, and a whole lot of fur! 😂🐾

My daughter is one of the biggest reasons I’m so passionate about creating a life that allows me to be present for the moments that matter most. 🩷

Today, I’m extra thankful for my girl and all the little moments that make motherhood so special. From the everyday chaos to the big milestones, I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🥹💕

🐾 HAPPY NATIONAL SCHNAUZER DAY! 🐾

Today is a pretty good excuse to show some love to those adorable, spunky, bearded faces! 🥰🐶

I’ve had the pleasure of pet sitting this sweet Schnauzer/Poodle mix, and let me tell you… the Schnauzer personality definitely shines through! 😂❤️

Schnauzers are known for being intelligent, alert, curious, and full of personality — and they certainly know how to keep you on your toes!

One of my favorite parts of pet sitting is getting to know all the different personalities that come through my visits. No two pets are exactly alike, and I love taking the time to learn what makes each one happy and comfortable. 🐾

So today, give your Schnauzer (or Schnauzer mix!) an extra treat, an extra cuddle, and maybe a little extra attention. They probably already believe they deserve it anyway. 😂❤️

A very important day in the life of Jake. 😂🐾

☀️ Soak up the sunshine
🌸 Stop to smell EVERY flower
🐿️ Check on the neighborhood squirrels
🚶‍♂️ Take the long way home
🎾 Get some ball time in
❤️ Collect all the belly rubs
🦴 Secure the goodbye bone

And yes… Jake had somewhere to be today. 😂

He was BOOKING IT on our nearly 40-minute walk, but somehow still managed to stop for every flower that caught his attention. 🌸😂

Then it was back home for some couch time, a little ball, more sunshine, and plenty of belly rubs.

Jake definitely has his own way of doing things, and honestly, that’s one of my favorite parts of spending time with him. ❤️🐾

Every pet has those little quirks that make them completely themselves.

💜 SOMEWHERE OUT THERE, A PET IS STILL WAITING TO BE REMEMBERED. 🐾

Today is Remember Me Thursday — a day to shine a light on the animals in shelters and rescues who are still waiting for their forever families, as well as those who never made it there. 🐶🐱🐰🐾

Behind every kennel door is a personality.

A dog who loves belly rubs.
A cat who just wants a quiet lap.
A bunny who loves to be spoiled.
A senior pet who still has so much love to give.

They aren’t “just shelter animals.”

They’re someone’s future best friend. ❤️

Today, take a moment to remember the pets who are still waiting.

💜 Consider adopting or fostering.
