🎆 Keep your pets safe this Fourth of July! 🐾

Fireworks, parties and holiday celebrations can be stressful and even dangerous for pets. Help keep your furry family members safe with these simple tips:

🐶 Keep pets indoors during fireworks. Close windows and doors and turn on the TV or calming music to help mask loud noises.

🏷️ Check ID tags to make sure your contact information is current. A microchip provides an extra layer of protection if your pet dashes out the door.

🌭 Keep unsafe foods and decorations out of reach. Remind guests not to feed pets table scraps, and keep fireworks, sparklers, glow sticks and other decorations away from curious noses.

🏡 If you'll be away, hire a professional pet sitter. Your pet will be more comfortable staying at home with a qualified professional than facing the stress of crowds, travel or fireworks.

A little preparation can help ensure a safe, happy and stress-free holiday for everyone. 🐾

🐹 𝗦𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗼!

When people think about pet sitting, they often think about dogs and cats. But small pets need dependable daily care as well.

Guinea pigs, rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, and other small pets rely on consistent routines, fresh food and water, and regular observation while their owners are away.

If you're planning a summer vacation, don't forget to make arrangements for your small pets, too! ☀️🐾

🏡 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗶𝗻-𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴?

Many pets are happiest when they can stay in their familiar environment while their owners are away.

In-home pet sitting allows pets to:
✔️ Stay in their normal routine
✔️ Remain in familiar surroundings
✔️ Receive one-on-one attention
✔️ Avoid the stress of travel and boarding
✔️ Stay comfortable at home

This can be especially beneficial for cats, small pets, senior pets, and animals that don't adapt well to new environments.

Summer travel season is here! ☀️ If you're planning a vacation or weekend getaway, now is a great time to start thinking ahead about pet care. It's also not too soon to start planning your pet care for the holiday season! 🎄🎅

✈️ Planning an upcoming getaway?

Before you book your flights, ask yourself this:

Would you rather save a few dollars on pet care—or enjoy your trip knowing your pet is in capable hands?

A professional pet sitter doesn't just feed pets and refill water bowls. They can help provide:

✔️ A consistent routine in your pet's familiar environment
✔️ Clear communication and visit updates
✔️ Emergency preparedness and contingency plans
✔️ Knowledge of pet behavior, health and safety
✔️ Written policies and professional procedures

When interviewing a potential pet sitter, ask questions about their training, emergency plans, insurance, contracts and business practices.

As a conscientious pet parent, your goal isn't simply finding someone to watch your pet.

You want someone you can trust, and your pet deserves the best care.
