Today’s treasure: a car sun visor.

Previous finds include a monster-foot slipper, a chunk of asphalt, several balls larger than her head, and a baseball (her closest thing to “normal”).

I no longer try to understand her criteria.

When I was at SuperZoo, I stopped by the Puzzle Feeder booth to tell them how much Stormy loves the bowl I bought from them a few years ago! Vanessa Doig, the CEO of Reggie Pets, was kind enough to give us some calming peanut butter, which my kids enjoyed on their licky mats. My current boarding client, who is super shy and skittish, enjoyed his in a Kong in his kennel! It gave him something to do and helped relax him at the same time 😊

Dur makes dog toys from recycled balloons, ensuring they are repurposed and don't end up in our oceans. Silvana was kind enough to give me a couple at SuperZoo! The big rubber ring is blackberry scented - it was a big hit with Stormy and an even bigger hit with Jaxon who promptly stole it from Stormy 😂 Jaxon got his own, a softer dental bone toy with a hole down the length. I put a bully stick in it, 'glued' it in with peanut butter, and froze it to keep him occupied while I was with clients. You can buy them here:

Over the next few days/weeks, I'm going to be highlighting some of the cool finds I got at SuperZoo 2025! First up is a gut health test kit I won in a spin-the-wheel game at the Biome Brigade booth. I'm really excited about this one, because Stormy has a sensitive stomach and sometimes eats weird things. This is a collect and mail in test that will analyze her stool and will identify over 5,000 types of bacteria, and then gives personalized recommendations for diet, supplements, or lifestyle changes to help. I'm excited to see what's going on with Stormy and what they recommend! (I also think it's hilarious and brilliant to create a collectible comic that doubles as their product guide 🤣) Thanks Biome Brigade!
