I know it doesn't feel like it, but the time has come to book your dog for the holidays 🎄🦃

Online booking is now open through the end of the year (and into next year, if you feel like it!), so make sure to book several appointments to keep your dog looking clean and fresh!

Starting 8/1, our salon will have new extended hours, so if our schedule didn't work for you before, it might now!

"Why pay someone to bathe my dog, when I can do it myself at home?"

This is a question I had before becoming a groomer, and one that I hear often. So here are some reasons!

1) Bathing system: our salon uses a BatherBox bathing system, which allows shampoo to pe*****te deep into the coat, down to the skin, loosening shedding hair and grime.
2) Professional products: From a repairing de-shed, to a soothing oatmeal, professional-grade products can make a huge difference in the outcome of a bath! We find and use high-quality products, so you know your dog is getting a thorough clean.
3)High-velocity dryer: Dryers aren't just for drying! High-velocity dryers not only get your dog dry in record time, it releases shedding hair. Getting a dog completely dry also reduces the "wet dog" smell.
4) Large variety of tools: Take the guess-work out of what brush to buy for your dog! We have many different types of tools to detangle and deshed, so we will find what works best for your dog's coat.
5) A second set of eyes: during the drying process, we are able to see every square inch of skin on your dog, and in working with them, we can notice anything concerning. As highly-skilled pet care professionals, we are able to see changes in your dog and communicate any concerns to you.
6) Nail grinding is included: Does your dog have noisy, long, sharp nails? Not only will we trim them down, nail grinding is also included in every service!
7) NO MESS TO CLEAN UP: Our facilities are designed to be easy to clean. Keep the hair and mess out of your house and let us take care of it!

You'll be seeing a new face around the Peak Paws Grooming salon 👀

Emma is our new Stylist Apprentice! Over the next several months she'll be learning the art of dog grooming. For now, she's doing all the bathing and drying, which means more available bath appointments, and more haircut appointments with me!
