Vax Clinic for Mission Residents Only 🚨‼️ . Rick Salinas’ rescue cat Tangerine’s story 🐾. Fourteen years ago, Rick Salinas, Mission mayoral candidate and fellow rescue cat owner, found Tangerine in a Weslaco parking lot and brought her home. Today she’s the queen of her domain — strong‑willed, independent, and deeply loved. You can hear Rick smile when he talks about her over the phone. And 18 months ago, he opened his heart again and adopted her companion from our charity. Rescue changes lives — just ask Tangerine.
