What if a dog treat company could celebrate Kansas City while also helping animals in need? ❤️🐶

Now, what once felt like a dream is sitting on store shelves across the metro, being shipped to dog lovers around the country, and helping support the rescue work that means everything to us.

Every bag represents long days, late nights, second chances, and a community that continues to show up for us in ways we’ll never forget.

We’re not a giant corporation.
We’re a local small business built right here in Kansas City by people who genuinely love dogs and this city.

WE ARE STILL TRYING TO WRAP OUR HEADS AROUND THIS… 🥹🐾

What started as a simple idea and a dream scribbled out in our heads has somehow turned into this beautiful reality. Today, Kansas City Dog Treats Co. was named Best Dog Treats in Kansas City and honestly… we are just incredibly grateful.

There were so many moments in the beginning where this felt impossible. Long nights. Huge risks. Constant second guessing. Building something from the ground up while competing against massive corporations can feel a little like bringing a tennis ball to a bulldozer fight. 😂

But Kansas City showed up for us.

Every single share, order, comment, tag, message, store purchase, and word-of-mouth recommendation helped build this company one bag at a time. Because of YOU, our treats are now sitting in stores across Kansas City and beyond. Because of YOU, a dream that once lived only in our imagination is now sitting on shelves, in homes, and in the paws of dogs everywhere. 🐶❤️

A huge part of the inspiration behind Kansas City Dog Treats Co. came from a lifetime of helping unwanted, overlooked, and forgotten animals find forever homes.

For years, I’ve watched dogs get passed by simply because they were scared, older, different, or just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But I’ve also seen something beautiful happen over and over again… someone gives them a chance, and suddenly that dog becomes family. ❤️

Dogs have changed my life in more ways than I could ever explain. Starting this company was never just about dog treats. It was about building something that celebrates the bond we have with our pets while also creating a brand rooted in compassion, community, and second chances.
