The enemy really thought a little chaos, disappointment, and inconvenience were gonna take me out. 😂

Sir… I’ve survived harder seasons than this, and God was faithful through every single one.

It is. 😂

But it took me a while to realize that following Jesus didn’t mean becoming a carbon copy of somebody else’s idea of what a Christian woman should look like.

I can love slow mornings, gardens and homemaking…
and old cemeteries, strange history, cryptids and spooky things.

I can wear black one day and a whimsical floral dress the next.

I can be a little strange. A little alternative. A little difficult to put into a niche.

And still belong completely to Christ.

Jesus gets to transform my heart. I don’t need the internet to sanitize my personality.

“Man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” — 1 Samuel 16:7

So yes. I’m the weird Christian.

At this point, I think I’ll keep it that way. 🖤✝️🌿
